I swear this trip is mentally slash emotionally draining. Ugh. Why did the world cross our paths again. Now im confused grrr.

My thoughts were shooed as Lisa waved her hands on my face.

Oh. Speaking of her.

She reached one of the ice cream on her hand.

I swear. Ice cream saved my life.

.............

*A WHILE AGO*

"Jen..." She cupped my cheeks, looking at me worriedly.

I'm the one who was lost but why does she look more scared than me.

*thump thump!*

We stared at one another, allowing me to clearly remember her beautiful features.

"Are you okay?..." She asked, checking on me.

*THUMP THUMP!*

Fuck.

I'm falling.

Again.

"ICE CREAM!" I blurted out, changing the topic inside my head.

And now we're here in the ice cream store.

"Here." She handed the ice cream to me.

"Yeah thanks." I got the ice cream.

Don't give in too fast Jen. Remember that!

..........

"Let's go." I told her since it was near our appointment time with our client.

"Wait." She told me and suddenly left.

Wtf. -.-

I had no choice but wait for her.

And I was starting to get impatient. Five minutes have passed and still no sign of Lisa. Grrr. So annoying.

I started walking. Tch. I'll just meet our clients by myself.

But suddenly, a boquet of flowers blocked my view. I looked who it was from and it was Lisa.

And instantly my anger vanished.

"S-sorry it took long." She panted but quickly stood straight up.

"Flowers for you, beautiful." She handed it to me, making my heart flutter like a butterfly.

"Thank you." I accepted the flowers, trying my best not to show my blush. Then, we walked with the crowd.

My fluttering heart fluttered more as she held my hand.

"Don't want my princess to get lost again." She whispered on my ear.

Aaaaah! My heart! I feel like I'm gonna die of heart attack. My face felt warmer and my stomach felt like a butterfly zoo. My gosh your effect on me, Lalisa Manoban.

A few minutes passed and we were still walking. Ugh! Why is it so crowded.

A few people hit my shoulder but I just didn't mind if it was a girl but I glared at the person if it was a guy.

It became more crowded and it started to become annoying.

You know when people push you as if there's an emergency but really there's none and they just want to be in front?!? Yeah those people were around me and they were so annoying.

I calmed myself down in my head. I noticed Lisa glance at me once in a while but I didn't really mind it. I was annoyed with the crowd.

'Breathe Jennie. Breathe. We're almost there.'

I was about to blow up when suddenly Lisa grabbed my arms, pulling me closer to her.

"Hey.." Her low voice echoed in my ear.

She placed me in front of her, lowkey back hugging me but she had distance, respecting my personal space.

"Chill, babe" She said behind my ear.

I unconsciously smiled.

"Fine."

I grabbed her hands, pulling her closer to me, allowing her to back hug me.

I felt safer. People weren't able to push me because Lisa was there.

Protecting me.

And once again.

My heart. Felt like it could burst any moment.

My body. Felt like electricity was running inside.

My face. Flushed as a tomato with a wide smile.

And that was her effect on me.

Lisa's effect on me.

Then, we finished the meeting with our client and went back to the hotel.
