The new girl

Chpt 13

I opened my eyes and didn't Realize where I was at first. Then I felt big arms wrapped around my waist. I turned over to see a sleeping landon he was so peaceful and content. I got really close to him and tapped his nose. He didn't move so I squeezed his nose shut and his eyes shot open😂. He was lost and once he realizedi did that he flipped me over and tickled me. I was laughing so much. 
Then all of a sudden his food flew open. And came in a tiny little boy with dark hair and pajamas on. He jumped on landons back and shock him. Landon laughed and held the little boy . "Lakyn this is Anthony, my little brother." I smiled and greeted the little boy.
Landon set him down and he said breakfast was ready. Landon brought me downstairs to eat. When I walked into the kitchen his mother was cooking and his father was drinking coffee. When his parents seen me I could tell that they were shocked and excited. His mom smiled and greeted me witha big hug.
His dad asked him why I was here. He explained that I would've been home alone and I didn't want to stay alone. His parents weren't upset but they said to tell them when I come over so they are prepared. We sat down and his mom handed me a plate I thanked her and started eating. While we were eating landons little brother was asking me if I was his girlfriend and stuff. "So your not his girlfriend but you stayed with him?" "Yep, we are really good friends." I said giggling.

"Well y'all should date. Your really pretty and I can tell he likes you a lot." I blushed and looked away I knew Anthony was right but I didn't want to admit it. I think I'm going to make a decision soon.
We finished eating and I sat and talked with his mom for a minute while he went to shower.

"So lakyn, are you new or did you not know landon before?" "I am new, I transferred from another school." She seemed intrigued. "Oh really why's that?" "Well something happen to me at a young age and I've never been the same. I kinda get into trouble for things I do, but I can't control my emotions." She looked conceded but didn't seem to mind. "Well I'm not sure how you cope with things but landon works out to release his emotions and anger. A couple years back his best-friend was shot at a football game and he's never been the same." I was shocked by what she'd said. "He died in the hospital later that night, Landon was always upset. He lost his best-friend at a bad age, but he's learned to control himself and slowly move forward."
Me and his mom finished talking and I went up stairs. I can't believe I was so naive, I was making things about myself meanwhile he's going through something too.
