"How can you be so careless?! I was the fighter you should've let me take the damage for you. I know I'm not a tank but I'm more durable than you!" Ruby reprimanded as she held an ice pack against Granger's head.
"I don't want you to get hurt." Granger reasoned as he hold on to the ice pack while Ruby covered the cut on his cheek with a plaster.
"We were up against Dyrroth! I can match his Lifesteal since I already have three items. It's like we're just eating each other while you deal the real damage! Dyrroth also likes me, like a lot so he won't hurt me that much. He was targeting you and you were 1v1ing him like he wanted! You would have died if I hadn't grabbed him to let you flee!" she stomped her foot on the ground and crossed her arms, puffing up her cheeks.
"Don't describe it like that it sounds obscene. You're mine and no one else's." Granger growled, possessively.
Ruby blushed a deep shade of red and karate chopped her partner on the head. Honestly, he's just so possessive even though they're not yet in an official relationship. "You pervy! Bad Granger! Bad marksman!" She started hitting him with her fists.
"That hurts. My stitches reopened." Granger complained with a humorless tone as he blocked her blows.
"What?! I'm sorry. Does it hurt? Are you bleeding?" Ruby pulled away to inspect his injuries and noticed a small splotch of red on his abdomen. She gasped and started tearing up.
"I'm sorry!" She cried softly. She knelt down and applied pressure on the wound. She activated Revitalize to help heal his wounds, a green circle appeared below them allowing them both to replenish their energy and heal their wounds faster.
She removed the bandages and mended his wound before wrapping fresh bandages on his stomach, while crying. Fat drops of tears fell from her emerald eye due to guilt.
"I'm so sorry. I shouldn't have done that." she exclaimed in guilt.
Granger didn't speak a word before he cupped her cheek and kissed her lips shutting her up. Ruby started calming down and melting into his kiss as the spell Revitalize both their strength.
"Does it still hurt?" Ruby asked a she repaired the holes in his clothes.
"Yes, it still hurts tremendously." He answered nonchalantly while tuning his violin, which annoyed Ruby to the bone because of the terrible sound.
"I might know a way to help you feel better." Ruby said as she set aside her sewing.
"Is it morphine? I've had plenty already." He asked not even looking up at her.
"It's something less chemical." she answered furrowing her brows.
"Well, what is it?" A kiss was suddenly placed on his wounded stomach, up to his chest, then his forehead, and lastly to his cheek.
"There. Grandma used to kiss my wounds when I was little and it always helps to keep the pain away. Feeling much better?" She asked placing her hands on her hips and smiling proudly at him.
A smile made its way to the marksman's lips as he looked up at her cute proud face. "Yes. Much better."
