Ruby frowned as she sulked on the bed mumbling from time to time about the audacity of her boyfriend to ignore her when she's being completely generous. She's currently laying naked, wearing only a pair of baby blue lace lingerie, on Xborg's bed, sipping wine seductively and trying all the hot poses she could think of just to get his attention. But no, all her efforts were disregarded as he occupied himself with whatever he's doing on his computer.

She groaned.

Ruby and Xborg have been in a relationship for about six months already and everything was fantastic. Sure there are a few disagreements here and there filled with colorful insults but Xborg was really loving and surprisingly gentle. He doesn't really know how to cook and typically burns everything his hands touch but at least he's making cute efforts to do things for her.

They began getting to know each other after he beat up the guy who groped her ass. After that, he admitted that he's been having a crush on her for quite some time now ever since he saw her working in her cafe. He said that it began with infatuation. Ruby is very beautiful and attractive so it was no wonder that she caught his eye when he first entered her establishment.

His apartment is quite far from her cafe and he only came upon it by accident. Xborg is a hacker, well-known for his unfailing repertoire in anything IT-related. He can gather sensitive information about anything and everything that's why many corporations or gangsters employ his skills to bring their enemies down. When he first met Ruby, he was already on his way home after another successful transaction when the rain began to pour. He was already wet and cold but her cafe is the closest place he could go to so he took shelter there.

When he entered, the strong aroma of brewed coffee immediately greeted him along with the pretty face of a certain lady. Ruby was a dazzling beauty even under pressure as many customers demanded their orders from left to right. It felt like he stood there for hours watching her go, observing the fluttering of her skirt, and the bouncing of her silver hair as she went back to and fro. He never missed the way her lips would quirk when a customer is being difficult or the smile she would wear when amused by a funny remark.

He turned away to avoid looking like a creepy stalker. He began looking around the establishment and realized that this is not only a cafe but also a book shop. He noted the abundance of butterfly decorations and fresh orchid flowers which are quite cute. He took a seat on a secluded booth placing his laptop and bag there before scouring through the shelves for something interesting he could read and maybe even purchase.

He was about to grab a book when a pair of small delicate hands clasped his hands before placing a handkerchief on it to wipe away the water dripping from his cold fingers. Xborg almost didn't notice that he was shivering and freezing until he felt how warm her hands were. His gaze left his hand and went down to meet the serenely beautiful face of the maiden.

"Sir, please refrain from touching our books with your wet hands. And also you should get yourself something warm to drink. Your hands are freezing and your clothes are all wet. I'll get you a clean towel and some coffee. Don't worry. It's free this time. Meanwhile, go take a seat and warm up. I'll be back in a moment." was what she said before going to the back of her cafe to fetch what she promised.

Shortly after that, she returned with a steaming cup of coffee and a towel to help him dry.

"Thanks, you don't really have to do this. You seem pretty busy. This cafe looks like a hit with the millennials."

"It is but I can't just let you die on my watch, can I? Plus imagine how hard it would be for my staff to clean up a dead body and remove the stench." Xborg laughed, making her smile.
