"Yeah I think Emma Thompson is pretty sexy herself." Scarlett said in a matter-of-fact kind of tone.
I nodded in agreement, "I think so too. Her singing voice is also amazing as well as her bo-" Before I could finish my sentence my face was grabbed and turned before I felt another pair of lips on mine.
The kiss itself only lasted about ten seconds before the male pulled away and let go of my face and I immediately lean back away from him. "W-what was that for?!" I asked, almost yelling as I put the back of my hand to my lips and over my cheeks to hide my dark blush.
Kody growled and leaned in close to my face, just an inch or so away from me."You're mine~" Kody said with a small snarl and I felt my heart skip a few beats at his possessive words. "I-I am not owned by you or anyone." I said, feeling the jealousy radiating off of him.
"Don't be so intimidated by him, he is like that with multiple people." Scarlett stated with a sigh.
It shouldn't have been so surprising to hear those words come from the female but that statement from Scarlett made my heart feel like it cracked.
I suddenly felt somewhat upset as well as I leaned away from him and stood off of the couch. "I am sure of that." I replied after a few moments before sitting in a chair.
I could feel Kody's eyes on me but I looked over at Scarlett, "So, how long have you two known each other?" I asked her, trying to drag the conversation elsewhere. She smiled at the question and sat back in her seat.
"Since we were in third grade." She answered
"He was so innocent back then." Scarlett added with a over-dramatic sigh, making me smile slightly. "Him? Innocent? I can't see it." I said with a small smirk, looking over at Kody who rolled his eyes. "I know right, you should have seen him in middle school." Scarlett said with a little bit of excitement.
I glanced over at Kody once again and he was giving Scarlett that 'Don't you dare' look as if middle school was an embarrassing time for him.
Now that has me wondering what happened. "What was he like in middle school?" I question and Kody immediately looked my way. "He was bisexual at the time but he couldn't talk to girls or boys that they liked. He would mess up he wording and stumble and all of that stuff." Scarlet explained.
She sighed as she looked at Kody, "As his friend, it was fun to watch." She answered with a smile.
"I hate you both." Kody muttered, making both of us laugh. "In his freshman year he was finally able to talk to his so called boy crush but when he confessed to the male he was rejected and bullied." Scarlett said as she looked at her phone that had made a sound.
I made a silent 'oh' as I looked over at Kody who was looking at his phone, no longer paying attention to our conversation. "Which I'm guessing made him go to an all boys school." I stated and Scarlett nodded.
"Yep!" She said before looking at her phone once again.
"I believe there is a dance coming up at your school right?" She asked and I looked at her with a confused look. "A dance in an all boys school?" I question. "You're allowed to take a date that is female to it, that's the only time females can be on the campus." She explained.
I still thought that having a dance at an all boys school would be odd but it only makes sense if the boys were allowed to take their girlfriend from another school in the area. "Oh, that makes some sense." I muttered in thought. "I wouldn't mind going with you." Scarlett said and
Kody quickly looked up at her and glared at her suggestion but I shook my head, "I don't go to dances, not that kind of person." I stated with a small nervous smile. "Oh well, you should still come. It's fun to go to." Scarlett pressed on.
The female continued to try and convince me to go to the dance and soon I gave in and with a sigh I nodded. "Fine, I'll go."
Scarlett smiled brightly and almost squealed as she bounded up and down on the couch, "Perfect! I'll pick out your outfit." She said as she started to write things down on her notepad. I am guessing he was writing ideas down for the outfit she was thinking.
"Oh you don't have to." I stated as I leaned forward a little bit. "You're right, but I want to." She said as she continued to write. After a few more moments she finished and walked over to Kody and showed him what she had wrote.
I watched as his eyes looked over the words and soon he nodded, a small smirk appearing on his lips, making me curious on what she wrote. "WHat did you write?" I asked and she waved her hand as if dismissing my question.
"It's a surprise silly." She said as she grabbed her bag and put her notepad in the purse.
With a confused look, I nod slowly, "Um okay..." I said slowly as she walked to the door. "Well, I have somewhere to go. It was nice meeting you Allen. Bye Kody." She said and winked at me before walking out of the building.
I could feel my face heat up slightly as I stared at the door before Kody caught my attention when he cleared his throat and got up. "What did she write down?" I asked him, hoping he would give me an answer.
Kody shook his head, "I won't tell you." He said with a small sigh. I frowned slightly at his words as I watched him walk away, "Why not?" I asked and he looked over his shoulder to look at me.
"It's a surprise." He said with a chuckle.
