Carnage // P.P (2)

Chapter 8

Freya looked around her as everyone rushed past to get as far away from it as possible. She helped a man who fell back to his feet and Tony and Bruce helped someone out of a car which had crashed.

Tony glanced at Dr Strange who was following close behind "You might want to put the time stone in your back pocket Doc!" Dr Strange shook his head as he used his powers "We might want to use it"

Once they were close enough they stopped in the middle of the street. Freya clenched her hands nervously as a beam came from the ship and two figures appeared. Tony glanced at Freya over his shoulder "Stay close behind me"

Freya gulped but nodded as the two creatures walked closer "Rejoice you're about to die at the hands of the children-"

Tony stepped forward "I'm sorry but earth is closed today. Pack it up and get out of here"

If they weren't in a serious situation Freya would've laughed.

The ugly figure glanced behind Tony and towards Dr Strange who, Freya had noticed, had moved in front of slightly as if to protect her "Stone keeper, does this chattering animal speak for you?"

"Certainly not I speak for myself" He then stepped next to Tony and used his powers "You're trespassing this city and on this planet"

Freya felt someone tugging on the sleeve of her jacket. She looked behind her seeing Bruce looking at her surprised. He pointed down towards her hands making her look down. Her eyes widened at the slight orange glow that covered her hands and looked back at Bruce who looked more than surprised since he wasn't aware they were coming back.

And Freya thought it was perfect timing that her powers are coming back just as she's gonna need them.

She unclenched her hands making the glow disappear before doing it again, the orange glow returning.

Freya looked up seeing the two aliens making their way over to them. Freya tapped Bruce on the arm "You might wanna turn into your green friend now"

Tony glanced over his shoulder at Bruce "Bruce can we have a hand?"

Bruce glanced between the two Starks and sighed "When do I ever get what I want"

Freya watched as he tried to turn into the Hulk but frowned when nothing was happening. Tony sighed watching him "Dude you're embarrassing me in front of the wizards"

"Bruce come on" Bruce sighed and faced Freya "We're sorta having a thing"

Freya's eyes widened as she gestured towards the alien's "This is no time to have a thing!"

Tony sighed and turned around seeing the biggest one had started to make his way over. He stepped forward and pressed the reactor on his chest which caused his suit to come out.

He took out his blasters and his head shot to the side when he noticed Freya stood next to him with her hands out in front of her. His eyes widened "What are you doing!?"

Freya glanced at her father "Just trust me"

Tony faced the alien's again and sued his blasters to stop them coming. Freya closed her eyes briefly and used up all the energy she had to push the little power she had out of her hands.

Freya opened her eyes seeing the figure now gone and her father staring at her in surprise "What was that?"

Freya looked down at her hands seeing the soft orange glow surrounding her hands. She could feel the power growing inside her now that she had used it.

"Where did that come from?!" Freya turned to Bruce and smiled sadly "It's a long story, we'll explain later"

Tony's eyes widened "Incoming" Freya ducked just in time as a car came flying towards them.

Freya watched as Tony flew towards the alien's using his blasters but the big one use this giant claw, grabbing Tony and pushing him far away. Freya's eyes widened as she watched her father fly away.

Dr Strange saw her face and pushed her in the direction "Go!"

Freya didn't need to be told twice and ran the way she saw Tony get thrown. She ran across the street seeing him lying on the grass. She ran over seeing Bruce standing over him.

Tony groaned and sat up and his eyes widened seeing the giant hammer looking thing coming towards them "Hammer!" He grabbed both Freya and Bruce and pushed them as far away before it hit them.

Freya groaned when her back hit the ground. She rolled over watching her father fight the thing. She stood up quickly and held her hands out again to blast it causing it to stumble back.

She ran over and jumped ready to land a kick at its face, a move she learned from Natasha but he grabbed her leg and threw her back onto the ground. She groaned again and sat up ready to strike again but her eyes widened seeing Tony on the ground and the big guy staring at her.

It snarled before throwing the claw thing at her. She closed her eyes and held her arms up to defend herself but no impact came. Freya opened her eyes and let out a surprised laugh when she saw Spider-Man standing in front of her holding the claw back.

Peter looked over at her and smiled "Hey Babe"

Freya smiled in relief "I thought you had a field trip"

Peter still held onto the claw thing "I saw the space ship-" but he was cut off when the big thing grabbed him. Freya's eyes widened when he threw Peter. She ran over to him and helped him up as he groaned "What the hell is going on?"

Tony flew over their heads as he fought the big guy "These guys are here to steal a necklace from a wizard"

Freya placed her hands on her hips as she sighed "And my powers are back" Peter spun around at her words his eyes widening "What?"

Before Freya could speak they saw Dr Strange flying away unconsciously "Kid that's the wizard"

Peter sighed and lifted up his mask quickly to place a quick kiss to Freya's cheek "Be careful" with that he pulled his mask down and swung after Dr Strange.

Freya sighed and walked over to Bruce who was bent over panting. Freya helped him up "We need to go"

Bruce sighed and stood up only to stand still when he noticed the big guy coming towards them. Freya noticed this too and sighed holding her hands out to blast him again but before she had the chance an yellow circle magically opened in front of them and the big guy disappeared.

Freya spun around seeing Wong stood behind them. She sent him a smile before taking the ear piece she always has on her out of her pocket and placed it in her ear. She heard Tony's boosters and looked up seeing he father flying towards the space ship.

Her eyes widened in panic   "Dad?" Tony sighed in relief hearing her voice "I'm here Kiddo"

"What are you doing?"

She heard Tony sigh on then other line "Peter got beamed up"

Freya's eyes widened as she stared up at the spaceship, not believing that her boyfriend is currently up there.

Tony spoke up "But he's going to be coming back down"

Freya felt the tears forming in her eyes "What about you?"

Tony got onto the spaceship before the doors closed, glad that at least Peter will be able to make it back to her.

When Freya got no response she started to get worried "Tony?"

Tony closed his eyes as a tear ran down his cheek at the sound of her voice breaking. He let out a shaky sigh "I'm not going to make it back for a while"

Freya let out a sob at his words "Dad I swear to god if you're on that stupid ship" Tony knew they were getting too high up when the comms were breaking, he knew this was his last chance to speak to her "I love you kiddo" He had no idea if she heard him as the only thing he could hear was nothing.
