The past five years have been hard for the Avengers. After being unable to reverse what Thanos had did, they all started to live with the fact that half of the universe has disappeared and there was nothing they could do about it.

Freya had to learn how to use her abilities without an anchor which was and still is a struggle for her even if she would not admit it to the others. After facing Thanos for a second time and nearly burning him to death as soon as she saw him because the anger and the pain of losing Peter consumed her everyone noticed her lack of control. Steve who was the one to stop her from killing Thanos before they got the stones back and he was the one who noticed the change in her first. It felt like how she was at the beginning before they reversed what Hydra did and when he told Tony what had happened it scared them.

Carol didn't know any of the Avengers well enough but once she saw Freya and seeing her struggling she decided to stay and help her with her abilities. At first Freya refused the help saying she was fine but Carol noticed that Freya was channeling her anger and was determined to help as much as she could, especially after Natasha told Carol about Freya's history. It wasn't until Tony told Freya that she needed to find control again or they would have to go back to old methods which scared Freya as that meant having the cuffs on that disabled her powers. After that Freya accepted the help.

Since the snap things have been quiet as there was not much need for the Avengers but they are still around, well mostly. Natasha basically lives at the compound where she runs things ever since Tony decided to pack his bags and move further away, he wanted Freya to come but Freya wanted to stay and help Natasha.

Freya sighed heavily after finishing up her call with Bruce and threw her phone onto the passenger seat next to her. Tony didn't know this but Freya has spent the last week with Bruce and not at the compound. She didn't want Tony to know that they have still been running tests, even after five years of no voices, no losing control. Tony was finally happy and she didn't want to ruin it by telling him what Bruce has just confirmed.

Freya looked up towards the house and smiled slightly seeing Pepper holding Morgan at the window. Once Morgan saw the car she let out a squeal and after Pepper had put her down, Morgan ran out of the front door and towards the car.

Freya got out of the car just in time. Morgan threw herself at Freya and wrapped her arms around her legs. Freya chuckled and knelt down to wrap her arms around the little girl "Did you miss me?"

Morgan pulled away and nodded, the big smile not leaving her face "Are you staying this time?"

Freya smiled and nodded "Of course I am"

A clearing of a throat caused Freya to stand back up. She smiled slightly at the sight of her father who had his arms open. Freya rolled her eyes but walked over and wrapped her arms around his waist "Hey sweetheart"

Freya smiled and pulled away but sighed when she saw the look on his face "Okay just say it"

Tony looked at her innocently which only made Freya step back and cross her arms "You know where I've been the past week"

Tony looked behind him and nodded to Pepper who called Morgan back inside. Tony sat down on the stairs and Freya followed "I wasn't spying but Bruce is a bad liar"

Freya nodded her head in agreement "I know"

Tony looked down at his eldest daughter "Were you going to tell me?" Freya sighed and looked down at her hands "I was eventually. After I processed it myself"

"You know if you had concerns, you could've talked to me about it" Freya nodded "It was Bruce that had the concern, I guess he was talking to Steve and it hit him"

Tony frowned "So what does this mean?"

Freya smiled sadly and finally looked up at him "I'm going to be around for a long time"

That evening the Stark household were all cuddled up on the couch watching movies. Morgan had not left Freya's side since she got there and had fallen asleep on her lap which made Tony smile when he saw the sight. He is so proud of how far Freya had come over the years.

Tony noticed though that her attention wasn't on the tv where the Disney film was playing but on one of the frames by the fire place. Tony frowned when he realised what she was looking at and wrapped an arm around her shoulder. Freya jumped slightly but relaxed into his arms and rested her head on his shoulder.

Freya sighed as she stared at the frame holding a picture of her and Peter. When they moved into the house Tony had found the frame in one of the boxes. At first he didn't want to put it out as it hurt him to see it but he also didn't want to make Freya anymore upset than she already was. But he was surprised when she took it from his hands and placed it on top of the fire place.

Tony kissed the top of her head "I miss him too"
