ÆSH
At the campus dining hall, I could hear Raë breathlessly recounting the incident to her friends though none of them shared her excitement. I took my dinner tray and sat with my roommate Varun and discussed soccer practice instead.
Late that night, under a cone of my lamp light, I researched vibrations and frequencies, strings attached to strings in an infinite matrix.
I typed in the search link: tricks, illusions, magic. An article led me to manifestation, which led me to ancient masters and then to modern masters. Masters who could teleport themselves, masters with ESP skills like telekinesis. Masters who could dematerialize, with a blink of an eye. I clicked on a video of a Qi-gong master who with a simple punch of his fist, could topple over a retinue of men – without the slightest of skin-contact.
Have I found a modern-day master?
I slammed the computer shut.
What Bose has to offer was enough to keep me engaged in this isolated jungle town.
