No one's POV

The girl ran through the woods as if her life depended on it. She had been fighting a long hard battle that she knew she was going to lose, half of her team had been wiped out and she was the only one left. Outnumbered four to one she had to pick up the pace or else she would face certain death.

She was a slayer after all and she couldn't believe that her team had lost. Running through the woods she was trying to find a place to hide until the enemy would leave. But they were closing in fast. As the girl turned left she was cut off by one of the vampires. The vampire that stood in front of her was tall about 5'3" with red hair.

Collecting herself, the girl got back on her feet and readied her weapons. If she was going to die, then she was going to die fighting. Her gifts would surely be passed down to the next slayer. Whom that slayer was she had no idea, but this was no time to think. It was time for action.

As the girl was about to attack three more vampires appeared before her. Their fangs dripping with blood from their victims. Without hesitation the girl attacked the vampires. It was a battle like no other and she could not lose. The girl swung her scythe cutting off the head of one of the vampires then burning the body. However, the more she did it the more she started to exhaust herself. She swung and hit, did everything in her power to defend herself.

It was already too late, however, fore the vampires had fully outnumbered her, she collapsed on the ground exhausted and as the vampires closed in on her she spoke with her last breath as she had already sensed that someone was dreaming.

Looking at the viewer she spoke her last words.

"I choose you! As the next slayer!" And with those words the vampires ganged on her. Devouring everything and drinking all of her blood.

Twenty-three year old Mark Fischbach bolted awake in a cold sweat. He had been having that same dream for the past two or three days and wasn't sure what to make of it.

"It was just a dream Mark," he said to himself "there's nothing real about it," Mark looked around the room and saw that he was in his apartment. Relieved that he wasn't in those scary woods anymore he climbed out of his bed and got dressed. Throwing on a pair of sweatpants and a cloak shirt, Mark also made sure to dye his hair of all things... Red.... after cleaning his face he made his way into the kitchen to make himself a cup of coffee.

Mark liked his coffee black as it was tasteless and normal for him to drink. As he drank his cup of coffee he couldn't help but think back to that dream he had been having for two or three days. Who was that girl? Why was she in the woods? And why were there vampires chasing after her? Why had she mentioned a slayer? Whatever the case was, he finished his coffee and made his way to the front door where he put on his tennis shoes.

Now that he was awake he thought that it would be a good idea to go for a run. Grabbing his keys and a water bottle he left his house and started on his morning jog. As he was jogging he didn't seem too exhausted to stop. But, he also hadn't noticed a black SUV following him. Mark continued to jog into the city not noticing that what he was about to endure was going to change everything.

As Mark passed by an alleyway, a masked figure snuck up behind him and grabbed him pulling Mark into the alleyway with him.

"Hey!" Yelled Mark as he started to defend himself. Mark turned and swung his hand at his captor nearly colliding with the man's skull. But the man dodged without a second thought and fought back, kicking Mark in his stomach. Mark groaned in pain but kept fighting. For some reason that blow had not affected him as much since he was already starting to heal.

Quickly, Mark knocked the masked man down but was astonished that he was doing really well at fighting. He had fully healed which caused a him to become distracted and therefore, giving the masked man an opening. As Mark looked at the man he saw that the masked guy had pulled out some sort of spray bottle and sprayed it in Mark's face.

"What the hell?" Said Mark as he started to feel himself faint.

"That's it," said the masked man in a heavy Irish accent. Mark had heard that accent before but he had already fainted.

Jack's POV
"God damnit Mark," I thought to myself "You put up one hell of a good fight."

My name is Jack, I'm an Irish YouTuber from Ireland. Who just so happened to be a vampire slayer. After the last incident with a team I figured that it was time we recruited more people into the organization. So, what we did was search for potential slayers in the slayer bloodline. Some think that the bloodline is only past down to women but really there are more than one kind of slayer. For us it's no different.

We send out other slayers in disguise so that we could find potential candidates. And Mark was one of them. He and I have been close friends for a while so I figured that I would keep an eye on him.

When we knew who the slayer was we gave them a test. Which is exactly what I did, the test was to see if they could defend themselves in situations where the enemy can hide in the shadows. I was surprised that Mark didn't realize it was me. The black SUV pulled to the alleyway and the side door opened revealing Bob behind the steering wheel and Wade in the back seat.

"Finally," I said "you guys take forever!"

"Well we briefly lost him so calm down Jack," responded Wade. "So it's true? Mark is a potential slayer?"

"Well, I've told you I have been watching him," I replied "Mark had told me he's been having the same dream,"

"That's great and all but how about we put Mark in this SUV first before we continue with the explanations?" Suggested Bob "we don't know how long that sleep mist will last until it wears off,"

Bob was right we had to spray new recruits so that they won't know where we were going. Together, Wade and I picked Mark up and brought him to the SUV where we set him in the back where the double doors opened and placed Mark in. After that, I climbed into the back so that Mark wouldn't be alarmed.

Wade went around to the front after he closed the doors and got into the passengers seat. Bob then started the car and began to drive back to home base.

Mark's POV
I groaned as I started to wake up. I knew that I was in the back of the car as the road was very bumpy. Sitting up slowly I rubbed my eyes and took in my surroundings, as I turned I saw Jack sitting in the back with me.

"Jack?!" I exclaimed.

"Hey Mark did you sleep okay?"

"Jack? What the hell is going on? Did you kidnap me?"

"Calm down," says Jack. I rolled my eyes.

"No I will not calm down, I would like to know what's going on!"

"Mark, if you'll just shut up for two minutes while I explain!" exclaims Jack as the car hit another bump in the road. "Thank you,"

"What's going on?"

"Mark, Your a slayer, you've been chosen by that girl in your dreams,"

"A slayer?"

"Yes, as in vampire slayer,"

"There's no way that's real, how could vampires be real?"

"Trust me, I said the same thing the first time," he continued "but it's not as bad as you think, we're protecting people,"

"But why me?"

"Like all of us, you have the blood line of a vampire slayer," spoke Jack. "I will explain everything later as soon as we get to the organization." Without another word between the two of us, we waited until we arrived to wherever our destination was. I didn't quite understand what's going on but I had hopes that all of my questions were going to be answered.
