Amy's POV
When I arrived at the hotel that Mark was staying in, I had made my way to his room. Once I did, I entered his room without knocking and watched as he was asleep. I smiled slightly as I made my way over to his bedside. He is so cute when he's asleep, he didn't look menacing at all. Hell, he didn't even look like a monster. I wondered what vampire, if it was one, killed his friends and caused him to become so cold. I moved his hair out of his eyes as he moved slightly causing me to step back. Was he having a nightmare? I backed against the corner of the room knowing that if he were having a nightmare then he would probably bolt awake screaming.
I waited for him to wake up, it was interesting watching him sleep, I know what you're thinking. You think that because I'm watching him sleep that it's similar to when Edward watched Bella in her sleep. But that isn't the case, I haven't been close to a human in years. This is the first real interaction I have ever had, and I wanted this to work really well. I looked at Mark starting to get impatient.
"Mark?" I whispered. "Mark?"
"Ah!" he yelled as he sat up straight in his bed. Then he looked toward me and when he saw me, he screamed which caused me to jump in fright.
"Calm down Mark! You're in the real world!"
"I am?"
"Yes, you were dreaming!"
"Oh, um," he said as he started to come back to reality. "How'd you get in here?"
"Well the owner of the hotel and I know each other. He's the one who was supposed to look after my brother and I,"
"Are you going to be okay?"
"Yeah, I'll be fine,"
"Good, you ready for today?"
"What do you mean?"
"I promised you that I'd take you to Bran Castle,"
"Oh, right," responds Mark. "Okay, I just need to eat some breakfast first,"
"I'll bring you some," I said immediately "What would you like?"
"Eggs, and bacon would work, thanks," I smiled at Mark as he responded, without hesitating, I left Mark's room and made my way to the kitchen where I hoped that the cook had made something for Mark.
Mark's POV
When Amy left to go and get me some food, I climbed out of bed and stretched briefly. Then, making my way to my suitcase, I opened it and pulled out the clothes that I had to wear for the day and fixing my hair. At the same moment, my communicator rang causing me to once again, jump in fright which was starting to get on my last nerves. Reaching down, I grabbed the communicator from the suitcase and put it around my wrist. Looking at who was calling me I realized that it was Colby. I had forgotten to check in before I arrived things had happened so fast that I didn't get a chance to talk to him. Sliding my finger up on the touch screen of the communicator, I saw Colby's face appear.
"Slayer 1378, Mark Fischbach here," I said, "What is it commander Brock?"
"Why didn't you check in?"
"Because I forgot, things got kind of hectic down here,"
"You've been killing vampires?"
"Not yet, I'm still trying to find the vampires,"
"Seriously? There is one in Bran Castle! It's Sam Golbach!"
"We don't know if he's the actual vampire yet,"
"Who's we?"
"Me and this girl, her name is Amy,"
"Mark don't tell me you went after girls when there's a job that needs to be dealt with.
