No One's POV
Upon waiting for Amy to get him some food, Mark couldn't help but think back to Dark and what he had done. Not to mention he was thinking about the dream he had and how Colby had possibly betrayed him by sending hunters after him. This was starting to get out of hand as he wasn't sure what he was going to do. He knew that, as a hunter you always had to be on guard no matter what you did.
Mark paced back and forth in his permanent room even though at first, he had arrived and was practically trapped in the room, then practically tortured now he was forced to fight against the two people that he truly trusted. This was just another lesson when it came to trusting people. Meanwhile, back at Dark's castle, the two hunters were sitting in the library; not reading but discussing ways to find and kill Mark.
"Sarah?! Why do we have to plan out what we do to our victims?" complained Ethan. "We never do that!"
"Ethan," says Sarah calmly. "We have to plan this out, we can't just attack him without a plan,"
"We do that with vampires!" exclaims Ethan.
"But we aren't just dealing with a vampire, we're dealing with a fellow slayer who fell in love with the vampire princess,"
"Look," says Ethan calmly. "We don't have to kill him right away," he suggests. "Maybe, we can kidnap him so that way Dark can take his place and win over his betrothed,"
"And how do you suggest we do that?"
"Well, Mark can't stay in Bran Castle all day, he has to go out anyway and search for actual vampires,"
"He's practically living with two of them,"
"I don't care what you two do!" yells Dark as he enters the library seemingly angry. "As long as Mark is out of the way, then I'll applaud you!" he continues "Now, stop sitting around and go find and do whatever you have to do,"
As Dark was yelling, Sarah suddenly got an idea about how they could kidnap Mark and keep him hidden long enough for Dark to make a move on Amy. It was golden and she knew that it would be the perfect opportunity to write the letter and have someone give it to him.
"I got it!" exclaims Sarah breaking the silence and causing Ethan to jump in fright.
"Sarah! Don't ever do that again!" answers Ethan as he calms down. "But what's your idea?"
"I say, we write Mark a letter telling him that we have proof about who killed Wade and Jack,"
"And then he'll fall for it and that will give us a chance to take him and lock him somewhere so that he can't escape,"
"Just one question,"
"Yes, Ethan?"
"How are you going to give it to him?"
"We can give it to Sam who will give it to Mark, then the plan will start falling into place,"
"This better work you two or else, I will kill you,"
Without another word, the slayers began to work on the letter; it was hard to fool Mark as he was top rank at the time, he met Sarah and Ethan. He had ran into Ethan first on the day he had arrived at the compound. Ethan was testing how well Mark could fight with a dagger in case things got chaotic on the field, however, as Ethan started to believe that he was beating Mark; things escalated as Mark started to fight back with extra force. This fueled Ethan's hatred of Mark from the start.
Mark's POV
I was pacing around the room when Amy entered, she was carrying a platter of food. When I saw it, my stomach started to growl, since I hadn't realized that I was very hungry. Of course, when Amy saw that I was pacing around the room she sat the platter of food on the side table and walked over to me.
"Mark? Is everything okay?"
"Not really," I respond as I stopped pacing and wandered over to the platter."What's the matter?" she asks.
"I had a dream,"
"About what?"
Grabbing the glass of water, I drank from it allowing the cool water to go down my throat. After I had drank all the water, I sat the empty glass down and made my way over to Amy who was so beautiful that I couldn't help but become distracted. Snapping out of my thoughts I took a deep breath and thought that I would explain to her what I had dreamed about from start to finish. I sat next to her still taking deep breaths, then when I was ready, I turned toward her.
"Before I launch into the dream, I wanted to tell you that I've been talking to a spirit guide,"
"A spirit guide. You mean, one of those things that was supposed to guide you to the right path?"
"Yes, that one,"
"What's he got to do with what you dreamed about?"
"He was there, while I was seeing all these scenes,"
"What did he say?"
"He said that everything was happening now," I continued now unable to stop. "That if I don't do something soon then something even worse would come my way,"
Amy looked at me with a concerned expression, I could tell that she was worried about me. But I couldn't help but think back to what I was dreaming about, had Colby truly gone evil and betrayed everyone in the organization? What's this about an army of slayers? Whatever the case, I needed to make sure that I paid attention to my surroundings.
"Mark, here," says Amy as she picked some bread from the platter and handed it to me. Smiling slightly at her I politely took it and started eating. At that moment, Sam entered the room carrying an envelope in his hand that was addressed to me. Immediately I had a bad feeling about that letter, and I didn't know what I was going to expect. Of course, Sam seemed to have gotten used to me around his sister. He knew that he wouldn't be able to get rid of me now as Amy was really in love with me.
"Mark," speaks Sam as he holds out the envelope. "I think this is for you?"
"Who gave that to you?"
"A messenger?" spoke Sam with confusion on his face.
Without hesitation, I snatched the letter from his hand and sat down on the bed. I was slightly nervous, I didn't know what I was going to expect or if this was about to get out of hand quick. Amy looked at me with concern as I looked at the front of the envelope and opened it, inside was a small papyrus like paper. Setting the envelope to the side, I pulled the paper out and started to read it.

I read and reread the letter thinking that I was imagining things and kept thinking back to my dream wondering if I was going to trust this letter. However, I remembered that I came to Transylvania to find out the truth about who killed my friends. Without thinking, I folded the letter and put it back in the envelope not realizing that Sam and Amy were staring at me.
"What did it say Mark?"
"Oh, uh, nothing," I said trying to make sure that I did what the letter asked and not tell anyone. "Thanks, but do you know if there's a garden around here?"
"There is, it's located just behind the castle, but you have to go through the forest, and you'll find the garden,"
I nodded my head, if I did find truth about my friends' deaths then I didn't want Amy to get hurt. If it was a vampire like I had seen in my dreams, then I knew I was going to attack and kill the vampire. Especially if Dark was involved. I hated the guy and I did not want to deal with him. At noon, I was going to head to the garden, and I was going to get answers.
