No One's POV
Mark smiled to himself as he fixed his pillows and laid his head down. Everything had happened so fast that he couldn't keep up with it. As soon as he laid his head on the pillow, he fell fast asleep.
The blue and brown-haired boy sat in his office fiddling around with his computer he had been waiting for one of the slayers to check in but for some reason he wasn't responding. He did everything he possibly could do to contact slayer 1378 but nothing seemed to be working. Had his enemy kidnapped him? Or had he been killed? Annoyed, the commander reached for a glass and threw it against the wall in rage. The glass shattered sending pieces of glass spread throughout the office.
The boy knew what was happening, he knew that Sam was doing something. Mark was the main person he was worried about the most. Especially since over the last seven years, Mark has grown increasingly good at taking down vampires. He was the headquarters pride and joy, which was just something small to talk about. He could rely on Mark no matter what. He also knew that he wouldn't let himself get captured.
However, he was unsure about the last part. Frankly, Mark had become increasingly close to the vampire princess. How had he known that? That was an answer that was going to be kept a secret. For now, his main priority was to focus on the task at hand. Which was creating an army of vampire slayers to go against the vampires.
Mark sat up straight as he had awoken from a nightmare. In his dream he had seen a blue and brown-haired man sitting in Colby's office. He wondered where Colby was and why Colby was not in the dream. Mark worried that something had happened to the man, but that wasn't his concern. Wincing slightly in pain, Mark got out of bed and made his way over to the bedroom door.
As he approached the bedroom door, he heard the sound of heeled boots walking through the halls. By the sound of the boots he knew that it was going to be Amy as she arrived at the door, she unlocked it and pushed the door open. She had her hair in a long braid today and she was wearing a red shirt and black pants. That had seemed to be her favorite style as well as her favorite colors.
"Hey," says Mark with the biggest smile on his face.
"Hey Mark," responds Amy with a small giggle. Mark was glad that Amy was in the room with him. Even though he was being held here against his will, Amy seemed to be fairly happy it seemed like she was trying to tell him something. "Guess what!"
"What?" asked Mark curiously.
"I spoke to my brother and he said that you can now roam around freely!"
"What? But I thought your brother hated my guts since I was a slayer,"
"Trust me it took a lot of convincing, but I finally got him to say that you could walk around,"
"That was awfully nice of him," says Mark as he looked at Amy with a sideways smirk.
"Come on! I get to show you around the castle!"
Mark's POV
When I found out that Sam had allowed me to roam freely, I was pleased. However, it didn't change the fact that I did not trust Sam since he had an ability that could have killed me. Amy however was a different story as she was so polite about everything. Even if her brother was against it, I walked out of the room I had been trapped in and started to explore with Amy. Still, I wondered where my weapons were. I needed them in case something attacked me or Amy, but something told me that there was no way I could find them unless Sam hid them in plain sight.
Amy took me on a tour of the castle, her excitement growing by the minute. I loved her perkiness and the way she always wanted to make someone laugh. I had never felt like this about anyone since I shut myself out. But earlier things changed, Amy came into my life and suddenly I forgot why I was here in the first place. After a tour of the castle, we made our way to her bedroom. Amy was laughing and smiling and as we arrived at her door, she pushed it open revealing a room that was red and black with a bed in the center of the room.
