Dark's POV

After my meeting with Colby Brock, the head of the slayers headquarters, I had received word that Brock had sent two slayers after Mark. That was a perfect time for me to take action. Mark was going to get in my way. At least I compelled him and made sure that he didn't remember who I was until we came face to face with each other.

Of course, when I discovered Amy was in love with that asshole Mark that night, I wasn't too happy. She may not have told Mark yet nor did she think she knew, when she was turned; her and Sam's sires promised me her hand in marriage. We were the perfect mates, she didn't even know I existed until last night. This time however will be a different story, when I get the chance as soon as I can get that slayer out of my way, I'll approach her and tell her how I am feeling. Of course, if the slayers were able to kill Mark then he would be out of my hair.

As I was super speeding back to Transylvania I couldn't help but look up at the sky and see a plane, it wasn't just any plane it was a private jet. The slayers must have arrived already, but that was very fast. Without hesitation, I sped back to Transylvania where I would meet them and tell them what to do. After all that was the deal that I made with Colby, and what better way than to allow slayers to kill him whereas I don't have to bite and kill Mark. Finally, I arrived at the landing site waiting for the slayers to get off of the jet.

The white jet sat still as the door slowly opened and stairs descended from the door. Eventually I saw two people coming off of it. One was a girl with blonde hair and brown eyes while the other was a young male with bluish brown hair and blue eyes. They carried black duffle bags that would be big enough to carry a body.

"You must be the two slayers that Colby sent, am I correct?"

The two slayers approached me, as they did the girl smiled at me. She seemed to be thoroughly excited about this job she was tasked to do. The boy, he seemed nervous, I figured that it was because I was a vampire speaking to these slayers.

"We are, and you must be Dark? The vampire that Colby told us about?" asks the girl.

"Yes, I am, I'm the one that needs help the most, as you already know, you are here to kill one of the best slayers in your organization," I said "But, I do believe that it might be a challenge for you two,"

"Nothing that we can't handle," says the boy.

"What are your names?"

"I'm Sarah," says the girl.

"And I'm Ethan," responds the boy.

"Good to meet you both," I continue. "Now if you'll come with me," I finished as I led the slayers to my own castle that wasn't far from Bran castle where Mark, Amy and Sam were. If these slayers couldn't kill Mark, then I would have to take matters into my own hands. And I really didn't want to resort to that yet.

No one's POV

Mark was exhausted from the magic that was used on him. Amy and Sam were trying to help him regain his memory, and it worked only because it cost a lot of terrible pain. Pain that he couldn't endure as much as he had hoped for. He had gone back to his room in the castle and laid down. As soon as his head hit the pillow he fell unconscious immediately.

"Now I hope you know what your doing," says Dark as Mark had noticed what he was up to. Now that the compulsion was removed Mark knew who he was and where he was located.

"We know what we're doing sir," says a young girl. The young girl looked familiar to Mark in that he felt as if he had seen her somewhere before. When Mark realized who they were he was immediately on high alert even if he's dreaming.

"Right now, Mark is the only that stands in my way when I am trying to get to Amy," this caught Mark's attention in that it involved Amy. He waited a little longer wondering what Dark was planning.

"Don't worry, we know how to do our job," says a boy. "Maybe Mark forgot how to fight back?"

"Whatever the case, I want Mark gone and out of the way!"

"We have a plan,"

"Which is what exactly?"

"We can catch Mark off guard whenever he is out in view since we can't get into Bran castle as Amy and Sam would stand in our way,"

Mark wondered what the plan was and why it involved him. He was also curious about why two slayers were in Transylvania, surely, Colby didn't think he needed any more help to defeat the vampires. Especially, when it came to Dark; he was an absolute menace. As the girl was about to go in detail of the plan the scene blurred out and appearing before him was his spirit guide, only this time he turned himself into Chica.

"Seriously? What? The human form wasn't good enough for you?" says Mark as he watched his spirit guide walk and sit in front of him.

"For your information Edward," says Alex. "I got tired of being a human, I wanted to be something different," Mark cringed when Alex started talking through Chica like a human. Not only was he cringing but he was also feeling weird seeing his dog talk.

"But I thought you could only turn into a human?" Mark continued "And don't call me Edward! Call me Mark!"

"Unless I want to be something else," he says "Such as a dog," sitting on all fours, Alex looked up at Mark with his dog brown eyes.

"What is it you want?"

"What you just saw is not good,"

"Tell me about it!" says Mark enraged.

"Dark and those slayers are trying to eliminate you,"

"Gee, I didn't know that," says Mark sarcastically.

"Stop being sarcastic! This is serious!"

"Then spill it out!"

"Before you entered this fight and arrived at Transylvania, Colby was already planning something,"

"Colby? You mean the commander? No there's no way," responds Mark. "Colby would never do that,"

"Don't be so sure, Mark,"

"What can you tell me?"

"I can't tell you everything, but all I can say is, be AWARE of your surroundings,"

"What do you mean?"

"Just be aware, I don't have much time, but it's almost here Mark,"

"Can you stop talking mysteriously and tell me what the fuck is going on here!"

"The great battle,"

Before the dream continued, Mark sat straight up in his bed. As he did things around him were slightly blurry. That is until his vision cleared and he realized that he had woken in the real world. Apparently whatever he did was loud enough, as Amy had ran upstairs and into his room.

"Mark? Are you okay?"

"Yeah, I'm fine, nightmare,"

"You always seem to have nightmares,"

"They're more like prophetic dreams, or a way to communicate with others," says Mark as his stomach started growling. Amy had forgotten that Mark was still human, feeling guilty, she told him that she was going to cook something special for Mark. Since he was basically stuck in the castle. Without hesitation, Amy turned and left the room to head down to the kitchen.
