Later that night

Finally, after a long day of training, Mark made his way back to his room where he immediately crashed. Meanwhile, Jack and Wade were getting the remaining things they needed to hunt down whatever was killing those people in Transylvania. Jack hated that he had to leave Mark behind, but until Mark was fully trained he couldn't do anything about it. Jack finished packing everything that they needed and were now heading toward the jet in which was going to take them all the way to Transylvania. However, before Jack got on the jet he left Mark a note in case his life ended that night.

"Are you ready?" asks Wade.

"Yeah," says Jack, "Let's go,"

Together the boys got onto the private jet and buckled in as they were ready to go. The jet eventually took off, heading straight to Transylvania. Meanwhile, Mark was sleeping; at first it was peaceful, until he started to have a strange futuristic dream about Jack and Wade.

The two slayers sat next to each other in the jet. Their bags filled with everything that they needed for this one battle in Transylvania. As the two started getting closer to Transylvania, in the cockpit of the jet a vampire sat, his eyes hungered for death. The vampire with red hair and red eyes did something crazy. They had begun to descend only this time they were going down fast the point of the jet ready to hit the ground with a loud crash.

Jack and Wade realized what was going on and unbuckled their seatbelts. They approached the cockpit unarmed wondering if all was well. However, the minute they looked in they realized what they were dealing with. They had seen a vampire and now the two raced to their bags hoping to grab their weapons. But, the vampire was too fast. He tilted the jet further down and got into the back to approach the slayers.

Mark was witnessing this far and had been trying to yell for Jack and Wade to lookout but it was too late as the jet had crashed onto the earth causing every occupant except the vampire to fall unconscious. It approached Jack and Wade it's fangs sticking out and his eyes turning red.

Jack had tried to attack it but because of how weak he was from the crash he could not get a good hit. Even while he was standing up.

Wade joined in also hoping to outnumber it but no matter what they do, nothing was working the vampire sank his teeth into the flesh of Wade drinking all of the blood then it went for Jack.

Mark bolted awake before he could see what was going to happen to his friends, he wondered what time it was and turned toward a clock. On the small clock he saw that it was 9am. Had he slept the entire night? And what was that dream about? Were his friends okay?

Shoving that thought aside he climbed out of bed and stretched then changed into his training outfit. Before heading out to the training room, Mark went to find the dining room. Before he could even get to the dining room he heard the leader speak over the intercom.

"Attention all slayers in training please head to the commons as I have some very sad but important news to tell you!"

Mark watched as the slayers in training started to make their way to the commons. To figure out what was going on, Mark followed close behind. The common area wasn't what you thought it would have been. It's nothing like Harry Potter or the Percy Jackson books. It was a large living space with couches, chairs and side tables. Overhead Mark saw the leader standing at the balcony followed by two slayers standing on either side of him.

"Right, thank you for taking the time out of your busy day to stand here and allow me to address the situation,"

Mark waited hoping that the news wasn't bad and that his best friends were safe.

"My name is Colby Brock and the situation we're in is bad, last night I sent two of our best slayers to Transylvania as humans were being killed off one by one, and last night I received word that our fellow slayers had not reached Transylvania safely,"

Everyone let out a gasp, Mark however knew what was going on. He knew that his best friends were dead and now it was too late. But there might have been hope as Mark planned to train as much as possible so he could go to Transylvania.

"Wade and Jack did not make it there, in fact they may have been killed by a vampire, how this happened, we may never know, but we must not give up on our mission, anything undead and evil must die!"

Mark had heard enough, he turned and walked away from the commons. But that day changed him as he was no longer an innocent man, now he had a desire; a desire that he never thought he would have. He was going to find the vampire that killed them and he was going to avenge their deaths. He just needed to train really hard.

Seven years later

Mark's POV

It had been seven years now, seven years since I joined the slayers, seven years since my best friends had been killed by a vampire. Since that day I had been training long and hard to get stronger as much as possible as I was going to travel to Transylvania and hunt down that vampire.

Since that day I know I had changed. In fact that day my friends were killed was the day I shut out any sort of love as I knew that if I had shown a smidge of weakness then I would have been dead. Since that day I had been defeating every single enemy that ever walked this earth. But it wasn't enough, I wanted something more. I wanted to avenge the death of my friends in Transylvania. So when Colby called me to his office, I knew that it was time for my next mission. I walked to the office and once I got there, I knocked and entered the room. Colby sat in his chair and looked at me.

"Good to see you Mark," he says "I have been watching you grow and get stronger with every passing day here,"

"Well it's what I do right? I fight demons and other unworldly things,"

"That you do, which is why I'm giving you the task to go to Transylvania and figure out what has been killing humans, I know it has to be a vampire,"

"Yes sir!"

"Have you already booked a flight?

"Yes sir," I said "and I'm ready to go, packed everything I needed,"

"Good. Starting right now I'm sending you to Transylvania. Good luck!"

Finally, it was time for me to seek my vengeance. I was gonna go to Transylvania and I was going to hunt and kill whoever was the cause of my best friends deaths. As long as nothing stood in my way I was going to bed fine. Going back to my quarters I grabbed my bag and left to head to the airport to Transylvania.
