Amy's POV
I stood in my bedroom looking out at the distant village of Transylvania. I watched from the castle window as the citizens had started to go about their day. I sighed wondering... no... wishing that I could be one of them but there was nothing I could do as I was undead, and the people were not supposed to know about us. I grabbed my journal that was on my desk and sat at my window, writing a poem about my life when my annoying brother entered the room.
"Sam! What the hell do you want?"
"Now why would you think I would want something?" he asked.
"Well because when you enter my room it usually means that either you are up to something or you want something." I said suspiciously.
"I'm wondering when you're going to stop looking at those people and stop writing in that journal of yours,"
"Is that a problem Sam?"
"No. Amy but you're the vampire princess you should start thinking royalty. Those people out there are your citizens they should be afraid of you,"
"I may be the princess dear brother but I'm not going to make them afraid of me, I just want to get out of this stupid castle!"
"And you can, at night."
"Doesn't count! We go out to hunt!"
"We need to eat too, Amy!"
"Yeah but I go after animals not people,"
"Don't you think I understand that?"
"Says the guy who went on a human feast,"
"You know I didn't do that, there's something else here and it's been killing not just humans but vampires too, I hunt animals like you!"
Ignoring him I turned back around and looked at the people as they continued on with their day. When Sam noticed I wasn't paying attention he just sighed and left the room. I've always dreamed about going out there and making new friends. At least I wouldn't have to worry about being cooped up in this stupid castle. I would have loved someone who had an adventurous spirit.
Mark's POV
After I had gotten everything that I needed for this trip. I had the common essentials that a slayer would need. A scythe, dagger, stakes, a gun and wooden bullet. Everything I needed and the best part was that this bag has a way of getting around the police and those in the airport. It can transform into anything needed to hide the weapons. Some of which could turn into clothes or even a book.
Walking out of home base I made my way to the airport. Once there I was waiting in line to purchase my tickets then I went through customs. And just like I predicted, they bag and everything in it transformed into clothes or a book. Once I made it through customs safely, I boarded the flight to Romania and took my seat.
After everyone was on the plane, the flight attendant made sure that everyone was comfortably seated. Next to me a guy in his early twenties with sandy colored hair and brown eyes was looking at his phone but something was off, I had a bad feeling that something was on this plane that wasn't supposed to be. Thinking I was imagining things I looked out the window.
"Where are you off to slayer..." I jumped at the voice and looked at the man. He looked at me which made me confused. How had he known what I was?
"Who are you?" I asked.
"It doesn't matter who I am, but I know who you are,"
"How?"
"Don't try to question it Mark." My eyes widened as I was about to grab my dagger from the bag. But the guy made no move to attack me.
