Tododeku(?)
More platonic than anything
Just some quiet
For these two fluffy bois
Because I love themTodoroki panted, flopping down on a nearby bench. He carded his fingers through his hair, closing his eyes.
"This spot taken?"
The duel quirk user looked up to the green haired hero and smiled in the slightest. He only gestured with his hand and shifted over.
Midoriya grinned and sat beside him. "Boy... I haven't fought that hard in a while."
Todoroki nodded. "Yeah. That villain was very determined."
The greenette hummed, relaxing back against the bench. "The police are taking him away, now..." He sighed, closing his eyes.
"Good... When was the last time just you and me sat down and talked?"
"Oh, I don't know." Midoriya breathed deeply. "Highschool? Maybe just after graduation."
Todoroki chuckled and nodded. "Yeah. Being a hero, we don't get much free time... Especially you, Mr. Number four."
Midoriya grinned and rubbed his neck sheepishly. "Right... I guess I did get up there pretty fast," he muttered.
"Bakugou hates it. He's pissed that he's still in the double digits." Todoroki huffed in amusement, Midoriya's smile brightening.
"Yeah, Kacchan tried fighting me the other day when we bumped into each other," the one for all user mused, taking his gloves off. "Kirishima had to hold him back."
The duel quirk user laughed softly, tilting his head. "He's so explosive..." He sighed, looking back to the greenette.
Midoriya nodded. "Yeah... He's always been that way. There are a lot of things I admire about Kacchan, but that is not one of them."
"I'd sure hope not," Todoroki teased, nudging his fellow hero. Midoriya laughed and leaned on him. "How have you been, Midoriya..?"
The greenette hummed, twisting his gloves. "I've been good... I haven't had a day off in a month, but I've somehow been sleeping and eating well enough that it hasn't affected me too badly."
"You should probably take a day off anyway... Maybe a weekend. Get a break. Too much work will definitely destroy you," Todoroki warned.
Midoriya huffed and shrugged. "I know. I planned a weekend off with my mom since I haven't spent much time with her. Oh, and I'm having lunch with Uraraka and Sue tomorrow." He grinned up at Todoroki.
He nodded. "Good. That's good." He smiled softly back.
"What about you," the greenette asked, shuffling his fingers through his tresses. "How have you been?"
Todoroki bit his lip. "Good. My mom is smiling more often... She's much more open now that she's living with me." He tilted his head, looking off into the distance. "We visited America last weekend. She really perked up. It's been nice having her around rather than only seeing her in the hospital once in a while."
"That's good. I'm glad you two have a relationship now." Midoriya looked ahead as well. "And you're smiling more often." He nudged Todoroki and they both chuckled.
"I suppose so," he muttered. "This is nice, Midoriya."
"Yeah, it is..."
Both heros sat in a comfortable silence, the street finally clear of police and other heros that were involved in the previous fight.
They both reminisced of their high school days when they fought side by side every battle, blindly trusting in one another. They still had that trust.
Todoroki guessed that maybe he never really doubted Midoriya after they fought in the sports festival and the greenette opened his eyes. Midoriya would always have his trust and friendship, no matter what.
As the sun began to set, the two said their goodbyes and parted ways, promising to see each other soon.
