Pewdiepie's Point of View

"Oi Pewds," Tom whispers to me through the silence of the room. The world around us has been engulfed into the darkness of the night. No one has spoken much all day. No one has let go. Everyone here wants this just as bad as the next person. The dehydration has made our throats feel as though we have swallowed a mouth full of razor blades. The hunger has created a choir of crying stomachs.

"What is it?" I reply with little energy to his call. I shift my position to lessen the strain on my grasping arm.

"I'm thinking of giving up soon,' he croaks with a waver in his voice. I think he's about to start crying again. 'I don't think that I can do this for much longer, y'know? I can't feel my arms anymore. I don't think that any of this is worth it anymore, pewds. We should be taking care of ourselves and getting ourselves fit for the slaying.'

He's trying to get into my head and he is doing it so obviously as well. I would have thought that someone as cunning as Tom would be more subtle about something like that. Unless, he is actually going to give up.

'Felix.' Tom groans. He never calls me Felix. 'I'm gonna get through tonight and if you're still on by then, I'm gonna let go. Make sure that you get the prize.'

Tom lets out a series of dry coughs. Wheezing heavily in between. However, I can't tell whether or not he is being a dick and exaggerating it or if he is really struggling. I mean, my everything is aching but I'm not doing as badly as Tom is doing. He shifts his gaze to Minx who is standing behind me, oblivious to the whole "arrangement".

A searing light burns into my diluted eyes. I jump.

'Hello losers.' I know whose voice it is before opening my eyes to reveal a pretty little pink haired teenager's face covering the entirety of the wall in front of us. 'I'm getting a little bored of your persimmons.'

'Persistence,' a boys voice emits in the background. It sounds as though it is coming from a video.

'Persistence.' She corrects herself as though she didn't hear the voice. 'And so to keep things on ske-skad-'
