Chapter 2: An Intense battle

(y/n)'s POV 

I hid behind the rock as brother threw the blade and dashed into the woods. In a battle, we decided I would be support and backup and Jade will be attack and defence since we were good at those types of things. "Who is there!" a voice cried.

"Looks Britain was wrong about no humans. No other could throw knives." 

"Yeah no joke comrad."

I heard footsteps coming towards the rock and decided to move. Leaping out of my hiding place, I ran towards my brother. Luckily the man with the sunglasses didn't notice. As I ran, I caught a glimpse of the others. One had a huge hat that was furry and had white, blue and red colours on his face, the colors going horizontal. Another one also had a hat. It had a strange furry tale coming out of it. He had a white and red flag. In the middle of it was a leaf. Speaking of red, a guy had a red flag face with stars on the left corner. There was nothing particularly special about this guy except he didn't have any eyes, more like... lines.

Narrator's POV

'Shades, Furry hat, Tail hat and Eye-line.' (y/n) mentally nicknamed. Suddenly, a pair of arms wrapped around her waist. (y/n) turned to see Furry hat had grabbed her. Just as she was about to give up on escaping the harsh embrace, Jade created some small crystals and stabbed them into his sister's capturer's arm setting (y/n) free. Disappearing into the trees, she hid behind her brother.

"That was scary." (y/n) whispered to Jade.

"It's okay. I'll protect you." her brother replied. "Should I kill them?" he then said after a pause.

"No. Not yet. Let me communicate with them. If they're hostile, then kill them. If not, I will try ask them why they're here." (y/n) replied, all her previous timidness vanishing. Sighing in frustration, Jade reluctantly agreed. It had been forever since he got to kill such curious creatures.

Canada's POV 

I stared confused at America as he walked towards a boulder. He looked back at me and said, "There's no-one. Maybe the animals here were affected by the virus and mutated."

"Maybe that was what threw the knife." I whispered. Then a white flash caught my eye and it seemed like Russia also noticed. "...Scratch that..." I suddenly said.

"Aaah!!!"

Turned just in time to see Russia fall to the ground, bleeding like no tomorrow... but if this continues, there will be no tomorrow for...him at least. I rushed into the ship and searched for a first-aid kit. Thank syrup I found one. Thoughts of the delicious liquid filled my head. Suddenly a loud groan from outside brought me back reality. "Hurry Canada! Russia is losing much blood!" an Asian voice cried. Nodding, I rushed to the front of the ship. 

"Canada! Look out!" a voice I recognized as my brother, America, yelled. But it was too late. Sharp... crystals came wissing towards me, pinning me to the ship. I wriggled as I tried to get free. Damn it! They were wedged in there real good. Looking up, I see the same had been done to the others. I took a deep breath and thought about our situation.

'Okay. So, America, China, Russia and I were pinned to the ground by some strange crystals and none of us can get free. We are currently under attack and Russia's losing a load of blood. I have the first-aid kit and none of us can move. The closest one to Russia is China... China!' My eyes lit up as I saw the red country trying to remove the crystals.

"China! Catch!" 

Narrator's POV

At first the Asian looked confused but then saw the first-aid kit hurling towards him. Once he caught it, he unboxed the tweezers and removed the crystal shards from Russia's arm, then got out the bandages and wrapped them around Russia's injured limb. After China finished, he found a tongue depressor and dug the crystals that were pinning him out. Then he did the same for Russia. Throwing the small stick at America, he suddenly said " Hurry. We are still attacked."

"Thanks commie bastard." America softly said, hoping he wasn't heard by China. But he was.

"再说一次，下次我不会帮你!" <"Say it again and next time I won't help you!"> the country with five yellow stars growled.

"Поторопись or we won't make it out alive." <Hurry up or we won't make it out of here alive"> an injured Russia said while wincing.

"That's right. You won't make it out alive..." A  harsh male voice said...

 Suddenly, a giant crystal appeared out of nowhere and destroyed the spaceship. The countries stared in shock. Then, America snapped out of the trance. "Run!" He yell. As much as he hated retreating but it's better than dying.  But, just as they got up, the voice then said, "Oh, I wouldn't do that if I were you. You don't know what me and my sister are capable of." 

"What do you want from us?" Russia said out loud whilst wincing in pain.

"You are not in the position to ask questions." the harsh voice replied.

" It's okay. We just want some information." a softer female voice responded. Then a girl with angel wings stepped into the light. "My name is (y/n). Pleasure to meet you." she bowed. 

"If it's such a pleasure, then why'd ya attack?" America called. 

Frowning slightly, (y/n) replied, "It wasn't me..."

"It was me." Jade said annoyed and stepped into the light whilst creating loads of crystals. "You will listen to (y/n) or face the consequences." he sneered. Shooting him a disapproving look, (y/n) spread her wings and flew in front of Russia and as she did that, Jade spread his demon wings and glided down to where his sister was.    

<So why I didn't say Jade 'Fly' down to (y/n) was because he can't fly. Due to the thing going around saying demons can't fly but, when Jade and (y/n) merge he can or when (y/n) is in contact with him. There is 956 words in this story not counting the author's notes.
