Chapter 29: Abduction?

(It was a week since (y/n) came into this alternate world thing.)

(y/n)'s POV

I got up and brushed my teeth, then put on my uniform and walked down the stairs to the dining room. On the table was a note. It read, "Dear (y/n), we have headed out early. There is breakfast on the kitchen table and lunch is in the fridge. Be careful on your way to school and remember to buy milk today.

-Love, mom and dad."

I smiled and got breakfast. Then, after I finished eating, I packed everything in my bag. Then, I started walking to school. Grabbing out my phone, I looked at the news. Apparently, some alien had come to the city and was demanding a citizen. Then, I accidentally bumped into someone. I fell on the ground and dropped my phone.

"Oh! I'm so sorry!" the person said.

I shook my head and replied, "Oh, it's ok." Then, I noticed the crowd of people and police men. The SWAT team were also on the scene. 

"What's going on here?" I asked, confused.

"These aliens landed here and they're demanding a citizen named (y/n). If they don't get them within the next 3 hours, they're going to destroy the planet." someone beside me said. My eyes widened in shock and surprise. 

'(y/n)... but, that's me... what do they want from me?' I thought. 'Should I run away? No, that'll be suspicious. I should turn myself in.' I thought. I walked through the crowd until I reach the tape. I was about to go underneath it when a police officer said, "Whoa there young lady. You can not cross the safety tape."

"The aliens want me. I'm going to see what they want with us or  they'll destroy the earth." I replied. The police man hesitated but then let me go through the tape. I took a deep breath. 

"Um, excuse me, but, what do you want with me?" I asked. A head like shape poked through the spaceship door. The face's eyes lit up when they saw me and the alien walked out from the spaceship. Cautiously, I took a step back and asked again, "What do you want from me?"

The alien with black sunglasses and the american flag printed onto his face said, "I'm America. Don't you remember me (y/n)?"        

I frowned. I feel as if I've heard of someone who was called that but it may have just been from a TV show. I shook my head and said, "What do you want?"

The alien 'America' said, "You." Then, it grabbed my arm and pulled me towards the spaceship. I stared at him with confusion and then kicked him before pulling away from his grasp. I didn't know why, but none of the police men moved. I stepped back again before looking at 'America'. 

"You pervert." I said before turning away from it and ran to my school. I shuddered. It was weird having someone touch me. Suddenly, a sound of feet running caught my attention. Turning around, I saw the alien running after me. I stared at it before turning away to run. I ran towards a tree and climbed up it. Good thing he couldn't reach me.

"Hey, (y/n), you remember me right?" the alien asked.

I shook my head and said, "I don't know how you know about my name and which city I live in but I'm not coming with you."

America frowned and sighed, "I don't want to hurt you but I will be rough if I have to. So, will you come peacefully or do I have to get my hands dirty?" 

My eyes narrowed and saw a shiny thing in his hand. 'A gun!' I thought.

"Fine." I said before sliding down the tree.

"Good. Now, come on!"

America grabbed my hand again and dragged my to the spaceship. I looked at him full of suspicion. Then, we walked into the ship then, he turned to the crowd and said, "I'm taking this girl with me so you better not try to stop us." 

I stood there, shocked at what had just happened. Just a moment before, I was walking to school. On the outside I may look rather calm but inside, I was screaming and my brain was yelling for me to run but my heart was telling me to stay. Then, I felt a hand on my shoulder. Spinning around, I saw what seemed like another alien. No. It was a human.

'What is a human doing on the alien's spaceship?' I wondered before hearing a buzzing sound. I turned to see the door closing and the world that I knew had been shut out. Then, the alien turned to me and said, "Do you really not remember me?" 

I nodded and replied, "I don't know who you are but you seem like a threat."

America sighed and sat down. "Now, we just need to get out of here." My eyes narrowed in suspicion. Slowly taking a step towards it, I asked, "How do we get out?"

America turned to me and said, "Do you remember anything before the accident?"

'What is he blubbering on about? Maybe if I play along with what America's saying, I could get out of this ship...' I thought.

"Oh! I remember the accident!" I gasped, putting on a fake smile. America's eyes lit up and asked, "Do you remember when the car hit you?"

I nodded and replied, "It hurt.", remembering the TV dramas mom watched. When they were hit by a car and lived, they would say that it really hurts. 

America asked, "Do you remember Canada? He lived because you pushed him out of the way." When he said that, I saw a vague image of a car and blood. There was someone holding me and it was warm. 'Must have been a dream...' I thought, but to convince the extraterrestrial being, I nodded.

He smiled (I think it was a he anyway) and asked, "Remember Jade?" Hearing that name, something inside my mind clicked. I remember Jade, I think, holding me while yelling my name. I also saw a car rushing towards a guy with a maple leaf in the middle of his head. I was about to agree when a voice said "No."

Confused, I looked around the room to see where the voice came from. Then, I realised it was me. America frowned again before saying, "Well, it's ok. When we get out, you'll probably remember." Then, without further ado, he turned the spaceship on and it lifted off the ground. We flew into the blue sky and then everything went black.

<1105 words! Oh, I forgot to explain, (y/n) is in a coma but her brain is imagining everything except America. There will be a more detailed explanation in the next chapter.
