Chapter 48: Me? (Vietnam)

(y/n)'s POV

All sorts of thoughts swam in my head. Thinking of someone I wanted to be with was harder than expected... I took a deep breath and tried to calm my nerves. Then, it struck me. I knew who to be my guard/boyfriend. 

Looking up, I saw everyone had their eyes focused on me, making me all the more nervous. Calming myself down, I began talking. "I would like..." The atmosphere in the air was very tense, almost like everyone in the world was watching me. Well, I've already gotten this far, might as well finish it.

"Vietnam to be my guard."

Narrator's POV

Upon hearing his name, Vietnam turned red and started blushing. (y/n) also looked slightly embarrassed whilst trying not to make eye contact with anyone. South Korea gave him a pat on the back before pushing him to his 'girlfriend'. "O-ok... Should we go?" Vietnam asked, blushing. Jade nodded because (y/n) was too embarrassed. 

(Time skip)

Starting a small conversation, Vietnam and (y/n) were laughing at a joke Vietnam made.They had already collected the female's suitcase and dogs from America's house and were heading to Vietnam's place. The country and (y/n) sat at the front while Jade sat at the back.

Not listening to the two at the front, Jade was staring out the window. Deeply in thought, the male desperately wanted to tell something to a pair of certain dead people... The humans sighed before looking at the large crack that ran up this forearm. It was growing a lot and was begging to concern Jade. Especially the bit on his elbow. Some of it had already disintegrate into dust and had been blown away by the wind.

'I hope you're proud dad... I did everything in my power to keep (y/n) safe... Now that she has someone to protect her for the rest of her life, I don't have to fuss over her any longer... Just wait... I'll be joining you and mom really soon...' Jade thought as he watched the raindrops fall onto the window. 'Really soon...'
