Jade's POV

Sitting in the waiting room, I nervously bit my lip, trying not to show my tension. America, Canada, Germany, Russia, China, North Korea, and South Korea were there as well, the stress could be clearly interpreted from their faces. Afterall, it wasn't only (y/n) that was in there, seriously injured. Britain, France, Philippines and Japan were also heavily injured. I sighed, trying to establish a mental connection with (y/n) so I could at least make sure she's ok. Nothing. There was nothing in my little sister's mind. This could mean 2 things. 1, she's dead and 2, she's unconscious. Assuming the best, I desperately tried to find a way to wake my only sibling up, to find my efforts fruitless.

A soft pat on my shoulder made me look up. America was grimacing with his hand next to my neck. On normal occasions, I would have tried to get his hand off of me as I still don't trust these Countryhumans fully but, (y/n) is literally on Death's door step. I sighed and crossed my arms, trying to see what was going on inside the operation room.

"Quick! She's going into Cardiac Arrest! Get the defibrillator!" a male voice yelled from inside my sister's operating room, making everyone look up in shock. <Cardiac Arrest is when your heart stops beating and, statistics show, only 27% of all patients survive.>  My eyes widened, as those words repeated inside my head. It gave me dizzy and sick feeling. Last time, it wasn't as bad! (y/n) didn't have to be, literally brought back from the dead. Everyone was extremely tense and on edge.

(y/n)'s POV

Slowly, I was sinking deeper and deeper into a weird darkness that wasn't uncomfortable but it could be a little more bright. There was literally not a single source of light in this wide open space. Gradually, the darkness was pulling at my limbs, and it felt as if my very soul was getting torn apart. I winced, trying to shake off the invisible arms latching onto my flesh. Gasping for a breath, I found that I got no air. It was as if someone was wringing my neck, crushing my windpipes and forbidding me to breath.

Falling, sinking, drowning... I found I was drowning in this darkness painfully. Then, a small spec caught my eye. It was a small dot of light, but in this wide gloomy space, it seemed so large. I reached my arm towards the light and soon, it enveloped me.

(Time skip)

My eyes weakly open and then I saw I was laying in a completely white room. There were several machines and needles latched onto my flesh, pumping all sorts of liquids into my arm. I balled my fingers into a fist, using up all of my willpower not to rip the hooked needles out of my limbs. Besides, even if I tried, I'll probably miss as my vision was very blurry. Then, a whispering caught my attention.

"...Sorry. She's...not...to wake... Even if...probably lose...memories and...blood level...low...take a lot of energy...we're going to....bury her....wake up soon..." a man reported, followed by sounds of sniffling and sobbing. I turned to where the sound was coming from and kept listening. My hearing wasn't 100% and words drifted within and out of my hearing range.

"We...thank you..." a woman's voice responded.

(Time skip)

"Please...can't you...her...please...we...her..." a different male voice asked, waking me up. That was then responded by sounds of silence and more crying before the another man replied, "We're...have...unhook machines....her die......buried....we...help her...."

Eyebrows furrowing, I thought, 'Who are they talking about? Is it...me..?' Pausing, I wanted to say something, anything at all, to catch the attention of the people outside the door. Opening my mouth to utter a word, a sudden wave of pain hit me and made me shut my mouth again. I tried to stretch out my hand but to no avail. Pain was all I felt as I desperately tried to move my hand.Nothing I did was working.

'I don't want to be buried alive!' I thought, still trying to move. Then two people in white came in and put a white blanket over me. Trying to shake my head, I felt as if someone had held my neck down and kept it in place. Then, the two people in white carried me to a coffin and dumped my body inside before shutting the lid, cutting off all ways for air and light to get in. Soon, I was suffocating all over again. I wanted to hit the top of the coffin and show everyone I wasn't dead but my body didn't allow me to move.

Suddenly, a thumping sound could be heard from outside of my box. 'The sound of dirt!' I thought wildly, trying to find a way to escape. Gasping for air, I realized I was suffocating again. It felt as if someone was sitting on your chest but at the same time, crushing your lungs. I coughed and felt something sharp entering my back. Then, I realised it was the feeling of my coughing. Closing my eyes, I thought, 'This isn't the way I should have died...' before slipping away to the warm embrace of Death.

Eyes shooting open, I saw two blurry people dressed in white running back and fro. Weakly, I took a small gulp of air. Oh, how sweet and refreshing it was to breath! Suddenly, someone noticed me and yelled, "She's breathing again! Finally..."

'What?' I thought, confused at what the female looking person had just said. Then, a thumping sound caught everyone's attention. Through the blurred window, I saw a guy with black hair hitting the glass. 'What the hell is Jade doing this time' I thought. Turning my attention to the otherside of the room, I saw the nurses and doctors working frantically, trying to get me stable again. It seemed like my heart rate was dropping by the second and 40% of my blood had to be added because Al-Qaeda had extracted it all. There were around 15 needles stuck in my arms and I desperately wanted to rip them out. So instead, I distracted myself by think about how I was.

'Based on how much it hurts to move my fingers, and how rough my voice is, I've probably been unconscious for about a week or two?' I thought. Out of nowhere, I shivered and slowly turned my head to the right. A orangy-brown liquid seeped into my right arm and almost instantly, I felt sleepy and in a few minutes, I was unconscious.
