Chapter 48: Love is hard to Putin-to words (Russia)

Narrator's POV

The atmosphere was tense as everyone's eyes were on the girl that was deeply in thought. Jade was giving out annoyed glances as he seemed to be in thought too. Then, (y/n) looked up and took a deep breath. Opening her mouth, the female announced, "I will go with..." before pausing, making everything all the more tense. 

"Russia."

Deep inside, Russia was screaming out how he was so glad but, on the surface, he didn't say anything. He just turned slightly purple. "What!" America screamed out loud. The American was clearly jealous and disappointed that he wasn't chosen. Russia hit America on the back of the head, making him shut up before walking towards his 'girlfriend'. Then he wrapped his hands around the girls shoulders. The sudden action made (y/n) squeak in surprise.

"Please stop. We don't need to see you two kissing or anything." Soviet said, smirking. Russia rolled his eyes at his dad before saying, "Lets go (y/n). We need to pick up your stuff and get the dogs too, remember?" In reply, the girl nodded before walking back to her brother's side and starting a conversation there.

(Time skip)

The majority of Soviet's children sat with him in one car and Belarus, Ukraine,  Kazakhstan, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania sat in Russia's car. Sitting with them was Jade, (y/n) and their dogs. Russia had already collected (y/n)'s suitcase and it was sitting in the trunk.

"So, are the two of you a thing now?" Belarus asked, making (y/n) and Russia blush. 

"Yeah. Kind of." a voice that wasn't either (y/n) or Russia's said. Everyone turned their attention to Jade who was looking at them smugly. "Also, remember to use protection!" 

"What the hell Jade!" Russia yelled from the driver's seat, almost crashing the car in surprise when Jade said that. Russia's 'girlfriend' turned even more red and turned to face the window.

Sighing, Jade turned to face his own window but, in truth, he wasn't even looking out the window. Instead, the male was looking at the large crack in his forearm. It had grown a lot larger than when he and (y/n) were on earth. Sighing, the humans thought, 'I did it dad. I've managed to protect sister until I found her a better person to protect her. I hope you're proud...' Rolling his sleeves back up, Jade thought, 'I was harsh on everyone so I could find someone who would be loyal to (y/n) and now that I've found it, I can die peacefully....'

Deep inside, the male knew that he didn't have much time left and needs to tell his sister but, when he crumbles away, at least she'll have someone to share the pain with. Jade could feel body tearing at the seams and parts of him crumbling away. Looking out the window, he sighed, glad to find the person he was looking for...
