Rosa's PoV
We are getting ready to start having the people leave to God City when we get attacked. It's a surprise attack on the town by the Highlord army. Everyone that can rushes to set up defenses. Me and the others in my group pull out our bows and start firing our arrows. Nava is using her bow and helping lead us all. It's pretty disorganized with four Elves, a small number of Knights, and a mixture of Dwarves.
The Ogres are getting slowed down by our arrows but they are still coming. Ogres, Draconians, Goblins all rush towards us and climb over their dead. They aren't smart enough to realize they shouldn't do that. Crucible comes over in cat form and meows. Nightbreeze says “Go ahead.” Crucible runs off and a few minutes later Nightbreeze says “I have to go.”
Nava asks “Where?”
“You'll see.”
“Why can't you just tell me? Or do you not trust us.”
Nightbreeze rushes off without saying anything else. I'm too focused on aiming and firing my bow to see where Nightbreeze went off to. Hopefully she's not planning on running away.
