Chapter 9: Running

Nightbreeze's PoV

It wasn't the smartest idea being bait. I was almost caught by them before and now there's even more of them chasing me. I didn't even bring a weapon with me. Nava was actually right. I was used to doing what I was told so I'm not used to making decisions on my own. This one has to be my worst idea. The good thing is I'm a really fast runner. I always had to move around really fast to get what I needed to done before getting in trouble. I'm trying to run and dodge them. Some of them stopped chasing me and are shooting arrows. Now I'm also dodging arrows. I decide to stop running and quickly climb up a tree. I climb and some of them are right below me. I quickly jump down and knock some of them down. Before I can do anything else two of them grab me. I try fighting but I can't get out of there grasp. They start bringing me back to there camp when Nava and Rosa come. Rosa stays back and shoots arrows at them while Nava come right at them with her double swords. The two holding me pull out their knives and put them right at my throat. From the twenty that were chasing me the only two left standing are the two holding knives. Nava says “Let her go.” One of the dark knights says “You don't get to tell us anything.” I know Nava doesn't know very much Kagonesti but I hope she understands what I tell her. I tell her in Kagonesti “Don't risk it. Find another way.” I can see she's trying to figure out what I said. She does understand at least a little because she lowers her swords. Rosa follows Nava and they watch as the two Dark Knights take me away. I'm trying to come up with a plan to try to escape. Hopefully they can rescue me before I do something risky.
