Quintrine's PoV

The Speaker looks worried after he finishes reading the message. He takes a moment to compose himself before he tells us “As we already know the war has started. Over three thousand people have been killed. Civilians. Humans. Elves. So many have died and they are still finding more dead bodies every day. The Highlord army has been going through the towns and killing them, forcing them to join, or forcing them to be slaves. No one is safe from them. We need to band together and stop the war before more innocent people die. We can't let the civilians get killed.”

The Head Knight asks “What about the Wizards? Are they helping us?”

“No. No one has seen them since the war started. They are supposed to be helping us but they aren't.”

Nava says “I know a Wizard but he's never around when we need him.”

The Wizard teleports in and says “We are rather busy protecting the civilians in small towns because no one's there to help them. That's where we all are. Don't tell us that we aren't helping just because you don't know where we are. As for you, Nava. Your group is to head to the Knights Circle and tell them how bad the war is. Everyone else I suggest get there armies ready, civilians to safety, and join the army against the Highlord army.”

Before any of us can ask him anything he disappears. Everyone is surprised that a Wizard actually came to us. The Speaker says “You heard him. Let's do what he said. Can you take the children with you when you head back home? Or should we take care of them.”

The Silvanesti leader says “We can take the Silvanesti with us.”

The Head Knight says “We can take the Humans and Kagonesti. The Kagonesti tend to trade with us in the city headquarters. So we should be able to find their family there. If not then we will after the war is over.”

The Silvanesti leader asks “Why aren't they coming with us? They are going to the Knights Circle but not to our Speaker.”

Nava says “That's because Elves are better. We don't need extra facts before we do something. Humans need to see it for themselves to believe it.”

The Head Knight is about to argue when the Silvanesti leader smiles then says “I suppose you are right about that. Where are the kids so we can take them home?”

Nightbreeze tells them “We can take you to them.”

The Speaker says “I will accompany you to the house.”

A servant says “We will get your carriage ready.”

“There's no need of it. I'll walk.”

Everyone was quietly talking about what's going on and they stopped when the speaker said that “

“But Spea-”

“I'm your leader. If I don't walk to and from places like everyone else then what kind of leader am I? The carriage will take too long to get ready. And I need the exercise. The rest of the council will walk with us too.”

One of the council members says “But Speaker! We are leaders!”

The Speaker harshly tells them “Until the war is over. You had slaves. You're Not the Speaker. I am. And I am tired of you all trying to get your own way. We will walk and that's final. Unless you want to start your prison sentences now?”

No one answers.

He continues “That's what I thought. Now let's start walking before the war kills any more innocent people.”

We all start walking outside and Nava tells them “You can't push the kids to walk too far for too long. We had very limited food and water while bringing them here. They each got a minimum amount of food for each meal. You don't need them passing out.”

The Head Knight says “We won't push them hard. On our Honor you can trust we won't push them hard. Especially since you are coming with us.”

Nightbreeze is at the front with the Speaker and they are leading everyone to Learoths house. Rosa quietly motions Nava over to her and she comes. Thintop is talking with all the different people in our group so he's distracted. I listen to what Rosa is telling Nava. There's not much to really say because it's serious about what's going on. That's why I haven't really said anything.
