Nava's PoV

I have been tortured so much I don't even know what day it is. Nightbreeze has come to see me a couple times but I have a feeling I haven't seen her in a while. I'm surprised I don't feel very weak. All the torture isn't bothering me. Yea I am badly bleeding but nothing that would kill me. I do feel sore but I don't mind. I just hope Nightbreeze is ok. I end up falling unconscious from the loss of blood when I am woken up by a huge comosion outside. It's quiet noise but I know something is going on. One of the Knight's says quietly, “Is it true? That he wants to marry her?”

“That's what I heard. How did she make him so weak? Love always ends badly. And it distracts you from your goal. We keep delaying the attack. We were ordered to kill half our army because they were against her. When is this madness going to end?”

That's all I hear before I fall unconscious again. I wake up when I feel myself getting untied from the chair. When I'm untied I get up slowly. Nightbreeze quietly says “Eat quickly and lets go.”

I look and I see food on the table. I quickly eat while Nightbreeze gets our weapons. She comes back and hands me my swords, bow, and quiver. She has a hood over her head and hands me a cloak. I ask her “Why are you wearing a hood?”

She doesn't say anything and just keeps getting ready. Looks like I get to have another heart to heart with her when we get out of here. I put the cloak on and pull my hood up. She says “There's guards right outside. They are distracted though. It should be easy to escape.”

“Is it true that he is planning on marrying you?”

“Yea it is. But it won't happen.”

“Why is that?”

“I'm going to kill him.”

“When?”

“I'm going to act like everything is normal then I will kill him. After that we can escape by killing as many of them as possible.”

“Are you ok?”

“Yea I'm fine.”

“You got way too close to him didn't you? That's why you want to kill him.”

“I don't want to kill him but I have to. If I let him live then I don't think I can leave him.”

“You fell in love with him. That's bad Nightbreeze. I will kill him instead of you.”

“No I need to do this.”

“Are you sure you can do it?”

“Yes I'm sure. Let's go.”

I hide behind the army while Nightbreeze walks to Eleathen. He smiles to her and they start the wedding. When it gets to them saying I do Nightbreeze turns to him and says “I'm not going to marry you.”

“I'm not surprised by that. It was way too soon. Let's talk about this.”

Nightbreeze pulls out a knife and stabs him. I can tell it's a killing blow when he falls down and isn't moving. I quickly pull out my swords and start fighting them. I kill a good amount of them until shock wears off and they start fighting. Nightbreeze pulls out her sword and starts fighting too. I slowly head towards her while I'm still thrusting my swords around, killing as many as possible. When I get to her we slowly retreat. When we get to the woods Nightbreeze yells “Climb up!”

I put my swords in my scabbards and climb up. After a moment Nightbreeze follows and we start going from tree to tree. We dodge arrows and the rest of them following underneath us. We keep moving and they still chase us from on the ground. We are still running but everyone following us stops. We look ahead of us and we see a group of archers. Two of them are Rosa and Quintrine. We jump down from the trees and land by them. I take my hood off but Nightbreeze keeps hers up. She really did fall for the leader Elaethen. I knew I shouldn't have let her go. Rosa tells me “Don't ever leave me with Quintrine alone ever again.”
