Chapter 12: Hang Out

Hunter's POV:
Two Weeks Later *

"I'm so bored." Lucas said. "Well I don't know what you want us to do about that." I said. He glared at me. "Man Hunter he's right. Let's do something." Kyle said. "Like what?" I asked. "Let's go for a swim." He said. "Alright. But first let's get something to eat. I'm hungry." I said. They nodded. We got up and walked downstairs and out the door.

"Hunter!!" Violet called. I looked back at her. "Yeah?" I said. I heard running footsteps. "Dad said wherever you go, I go." She said. I groaned. "Man I don't want to bring up annoying ass." I said. She stared at me. Her eyes welled up then she stormed back in the house. "Hunter you so damn mean." Kyle said, as he brushed pass me. He ran after Violet.

"Man Hunter I fuck with you but that wasn't cool." Lucas said. "Look as soon as I heard how harsh I was, I wanted to take them back." I said. Kyle walked out with Violet in his arms. She had her head laid down on his shoulder. "Now we can go." He said, glaring at me. I smacked my teeth. "Y'all making me feel like an asshole." I said.

"You are." They both said. "Well damn." I said. We got in the van and the guards drove off. I looked Violet and saw she was crying silently. I sighed. "Violet I'm sorry." I said. She didn't look at me. "Violet!! I'm sorry, okay?" I said. She looked at me with tears in her eyes and her thumb in her mouth. I reached my arms out. "Come here. Give me a hug." I said.

She reached out and climbed into my lap. "I'm sorry. You okay?" I asked. She nodded. "Aye look. There's Eliza." Lucas said, pointing. I looked out the window and saw Eliza walking down the road. "There's Alex." Kyle said. "And Angel." I said. All three of them were walking down the street. "Whoa whoa. Stop the van." I ordered. The van came to a stop on the side of the road.

"Angel!!" I called, as I rolled down the window. She turned and looked around. I got out the van. She saw me. I ran up to her. Kyle and Lucas followed. "Prince Hunter." Angel said, as she bowed. Alex and Eliza did the same. I quickly stopped them. "Don't do that." I said. They looked confused. "Look girls. I like you guys. So you don't have to bow to me." I said.

"Whoa. Prince Hunter just told us not to bow to him." Alex said. "Forgive me for speaking out Your Highness, but why?" Eliza asked. "I just explained. You guys are cool. You don't have to bow to me. Kyle and Lucas don't. They're my friends." I said. They looked at each other. "Prince Hunter, are you saying we're your friends?" Angel asked. I nodded.

"Yeah and you don't have to call me prince. I feel uncomfortable when my friends do it." I said. Angel gave a half smile then looked at Violet. "She's so cute." She said. Violet then reached out to her. "She wants you to hold her." I said. Angel carefully took Violet from me. "I love your hair. It's so curly." Violet said. Angel smiled. "Thank you." She said.

"And your eyes. They're so pretty." Violet said. "Mine? Look at yours Princess Violet." Angel said. Violet giggled. ""Where are you guys headed?" Kyle asked. "We were about to-" Eliza was cut off by Alex. "Eat." She said, as she made a face. Eliza then nodded. "Yeah. Eat. We were about to....Dairy Queen." She said.

"I want some ice cream Hunter!!" Violet cried. "I guess we're going to Dairy Queen too." I said. "Oh okay." Angel said. She looked at Alex and Eliza. "Oh I see y'all got secrets." Lucas said. "What?" Eliza said. "We see them looks y'all giving each other. It's cool if y'all don't want to tell us where y'all were really going." He said. Eliza smiled a little.

"Well we were gonna get some food." Alex said. "So were we." Kyle said. I looked at Angel. She seemed to be lost in thought. "Hey Angel?" I called. She blinked and looked at me. "Yes Prince Hunter?" She said. I frowned. "Sorry. It's a force of habit." She said. "Uh would you guys like to hang out?" I asked. "Right now?" She asked.
