Hunter's POV

I paced back and forth, unsure of what to do now. "They just disappeared." Dad said. "We gotta figure out a way to get them back." Mom said. Angel & the girls and our kids disappeared into the portal. Elease went throats well then the portal disappeared. We didn't know what happened or what do yo now go.

"What did Elease do before?" Mom asked, as she picked up Elease's spell book. She cried out in pain as it burned her. "Yeah Elease said that only witches can touch the book." Kyle said. "Well how the hell do we get the portal back?" Dad asked. "Elease said the portal led to Florida. We go there." I said.

"But where in Florida?! They could be anywhere there." Mom said. "I'll text Angel. Hopefully she has reception." I said. I pulled out my phone and texted Angel. She said that they were in Miami. She also said that the kids were all right and they were going out to eat. "Alright let's go to Miami." Kyle said.

We all ran out the door and to the van. Dad sped off towards the airport. I'm surprised we weren't pulled over. We ran into the airport before I paused. "Hunter what are you doing? Come on." Lucas said. I held my hand up and closed my eyes. I tried to remember the spell Elease used to create the portal.

I turned around and walked outside and around the building. I whispered the words slowly and clearly. Then a white portal appeared. "Whoa....Hunter how did you do that?" Kyle asked. "I don't know. I honestly didn't expect that to happen." I said. I stepped through the portal. I was met with cold weather.

I looked around and only saw snow. "They're definitely not here." I said. Nobody responded. I turned around and saw that the portal was gone. Shit. I gasped. "Wait a minute." I said. I spoke slowly and said the spell again. The portal appeared again and I stepped through it. I looked around and saw I was surrounded by wolves.

They looked at me then snarled. "Shit!!" I cried. I slowly walked away from the wolves as they eyed me.  I said the spell again and the portal appeared. I stepped through it. I was back at the airport. "Oh my baby!!" Mom cried, as she ran up and hugged me. "Son where did you go?" Dad asked. "I don't know." I said.

"Dude you just disappeared then the portal did too-" Kyle paused. Then he gasped. "You think that's what happened last time? When Elease stepped through the portal, it disappeared. So when Hunter did it, it disappeared too." He said. "So whoever creates the portal has to stay on the same side as it." Mom said.

"And I think we need to be precise about where we wanna go." I said. "I think we figured it out." Dad said. "Okay Hunter. Think. Miami. The beaches of Miami." Lucas said. I closed my eyes and whispered the spell. Then a portal appeared. Everyone took a step through then me.

I looked around and saw we were at the beach. "Where's Angel? She said they were all here." I said. "Maybe they went to town." Kyle said. Lucas snickered. I glared at him. We all ran towards the city. I looked around and all the bright lights. And I thought New Orleans were flashy. We walked around for hours.

We tried to find any sign of the girls. We asked around and showed pictures but no one has seen them. We walked into a Subway and they cashier said that they were here earlier. He said that they left out after a little girl grabbed a few bags of chips. He said an old woman followed them out.

That didn't help much. We walked out and went back to the beach. "We're never gonna find them." Mom cried. "We have to find them." I said. "Hunter!!" Someone cried. I turned around to see Angel running with Jade in her arms. "Angel there-" she cut me off. "We need to leave!" She said.

"What? Why?" I asked. "Evelyn is here!!" Alex cried. She and Jeremiah ran past us. Eliza and Jasmine ran behind them. I saw Elease and an old woman running behind them. "Whose is that?" Dad asked. "I'm Benny. Nice to meet you. Now let's roll!!" Abs said. "Angel!!" Evelyn yelled. I saw her running towards us.
