I looked around at all the sea life. The crabs, fish, sharks, stingrays, everything I swam past. It was beautiful. Stunning even. I swam around in the water, watching everything swim past me. This was one of the many things I loved about being a mermaid. I could escape into a world and be free of my problems. I then took off swimming back to shore.

I crawled out of the water and dried off using my powers. I stood up and walked down the street and walked to a fast food restaurant. I saw Hunter's van. I seen his guards all standing around it. Along with paparazzi all snapping pictures of it, hoping to get a picture of Hunter. I walked up to it and looked up at one of the guards.
He looked down at me and nodded. He slid open the door just enough for me to enter then closed it. I looked at Hunter. He glared at me. "You're late." He said. "Sorry. The sea life looked amazing. Oh my gosh Hunter. I saw a huge stingray." I said. He smiled and wrapped and arm around me. "Sorry I couldn't go out and see it for myself." He said.
I frowned. "It's fine. I know you have royal duties you need to take care of." I said. He nodded. Hunter's Dad told Hunter that he might need him to take over his throne. The King wasn't what he used to be. There's been rumors going around saying that Hunter was gonna be the next king.
I sorta kinda wanted Hunter to be king but then again, I don't want Hunter to be too busy to be with me. We're already hiding out relationship from the public. The King and Queen knows we're dating but doesn't want the kingdom to know yet. They're wanted to wait because they had an announcement of their own.
Hunter didn't know what it was but I was curious to know what it is. Hunter signaled for the guards to drive us back to the palace. Since me and him were keeping our relationship under wraps, me and Hunter didn't go in public together much. We didn't want the press to know Hunter and I were dating.
In fact, if we were spotted in public together, Hunter had to have different girls get in the vans with us so no one would know who he's dating. It made me upset but Hunter told me that I shouldn't be worried about it. He only had eyes for me. That still didn't stop me from being jealous.
