Chapter 3

Several months later

I started to eat some fruit that was in a bowl as the scientists came in and several more people came in after the scientists. I analyzed all the new comers to see a teenage girl that looked back towards someone behind him when I recognized him as the boss of this stupid faculty. Growling softly the teenage girl looked at us in awe and said,"How many are there father?" He spoke,"A little over a hundred fifteen or so. If you wish you can use them for your art project." The girl nodded,"Yes please that would be awesome. Is it possible if you can take one out." The boss nodded," Sure which one would you like Emily." The girl thought for a moment," How about that one?" She pointed at me as I hissed as the dad nodded,"Alright go get your art stuff from the car." The girl nodded before racing off. Several minutes later she came back with a sketchbook. One of the scientist spoke," Are you sure about this madam this one has managed to injure someone." The teenager spoke," I am sure. Just make sure he is restrained some how."  The boss sighed,"So this is the one that managed to injure Houston. Just be careful Emily." I hissed as one of the scientists had a vest on to block my talons as he used hawk gloves before unlocking my cage as he reached in to grab me he quickly grabbed my neck as I hissed before trying to whip him with my tail as he lifted me out. He quickly managed to chain a collar on me as he spoke,"There he is if you need anything just call to the guards right outside." Emily nodded,"Alright thank you Justin." He nodded before walking out. I growled softly as I curled up before hiding my head under my wing as Ashton spoke in my head,"Really bro you were once an artist don't be a sore loser." I growled,"Your one to the talk." Growling I sighed as I watched her draw carefully as she took an eraser out as she put away her eraser she took out her phone to take a picture of me. Sighing she started to form a ticktock video as she tried to look cute I growled,"Damn it a fricken Disco girl."  She looked at me and spoke," Shut it creature." Hissing as my anger increased wind started to blow as it slowly grew more intense. She turned transparent so I saw her heart and all her organs with blood flowing through the veins and everything else. Ashton spoke,"Your eyes changed bro." I looked at him in question as he sent me a mind image. In short they looked like fractured glass or like crystals. Emily screamed as she raced out when two guards came jumping in two minutes later with guns raised. They both spotted me as they noticed my eyes and little did they know I could see through there armor. My energy faded as I slowly fell unconscious.

Groaning I opened my eyes as I still could see everyone blood flow and organs. I noticed there were leg cuffs on both legs as well as a steel collar. Sighing I looked at Ashton,"Bro what happened while I was unconscious." He looked at me,"Two scientist came in saying something about a strange ability you possess that they call the crystalline eyes. They then quickly locked those two magnetic anklets on your legs that are attached to the metal wall behind you. I also heard that they are planning on putting you through a series of tests to see how powerful you can truly become." Sighing I nodded,"Why did it have to be me with this strange ability." Hunter spoke,"Perhaps it's to give you power to get revenge." I growled,"Will you shut up Hunter for one day please." Everyone chuckled knowing that Hunter hated me with a passion. Well to say the least the feelings are mutual. Sophia smirked,"Well it's obvious when Dylan's getting annoyed." Adrian chuckled,"Well that's true, Hunter we both know this as a fact Dylan will kill you if we ever escape. Or gets out of those restraints."

I curled up as I two scientists came in and ignored everyone else going right to me. Removing the metal wall that they had moved into my cage with a slot that was put on the back side. They quickly carried my cage to a room as the boss came in with his daughter and spoke,"Let's see what these eyes can do. Emily tell me if you notice any changes in the scales or eyes." Emily nodded,"Yes father." The guards then switched out with the scientists as one of them held a collar as the boss smirked,"If you wish Emily, I will have the collar on him oh by the way he was once an artist like yourself. Perhaps you heard of his name Dylan." Emily gasped,"The college student that won a national VASE gold seal and went missing a year ago." The boss smiled,"Yep." Emily nodded,"Perfect he has become a creature no one will realize. Yes father put the collar on him. Or can you put collars on all of them that puts an electric fence over the entire park so if they do escape you can catch them." The boss nodded," What an excellent idea but you will be joining them." Emily looked confused tell a scientist came up behind as she fell unconscious as the scientist held an empty needle. I hissed and said in the mind-link,"Well that is complete Irony because I guess she is gonna be one of us so. She will know our pain so no being an idiot and I am looking at you Adrian, Dominic, and mostly you Hunter. Also heads up they are gonna put shock collars on all of us so ya if we do escape we will be trapped in the park where we are at. Unless we manage to get the collars off and for me both the ankle magnetic cuffs." Everyone growled about the shock collars part before chuckling about me with more restraints." The boss turned to the guards,"After you put that one on him go do the rest of them and I know we have over a few thousand so need to worry about that." The unlocked it as one of the other guards positioned himself to pin me down as they opened the latch. I hissed in surprise at the speed they have as they quickly pinned me down as the one with the collar easily snapped the collar shut. The boss pressed a button on a remote as an electric shock coursed through me causing me to spasm. Speaking softly,"Heads up the shock is painful and I have a feeling there is a remote for each one of us." I stood up as the boss smirked," I honestly don't care of you guys remember your former selves. It just makes it more fun. Now let's see what you can do. Dylan." He pressed the button again as I spasmed again as the wind once again picked up as my tail looked sharper as he nodded writing it down," It seems you can use crystals to make your claws and tail sharper. I wonder if it could be used as defense as well."
