Chapter 15

  I opened my eyes as I felt heat specifically placed in several spots on my wings and shoulders. I looked around as I spotted the Angil named Dereck sitting there as I watched for any movements but he was too preoccupied with the little holographic screen in his hand. I tried to get up but yelped in pain as he spoke," Easy your muscles around your shoulders, wings, and some parts of your neck are torn to shreds. Another thing is that some of you wing bones are fractured." I realized I wasn't in a cage or anything as I finally felt the tracking collar and a normal kind of collar that you would put on dogs connected to a thin metal leash that was connected to a ring in the wall. He brought over two bowls one with water and the other one with food. He put it in range of my neck as I smelled something in the water or food but I couldn't tell which one it was. I sniffed the food as their was several different types of meat and fruit. I gulped down pieces of the meat and it was better than squirrel meat and other types of meat I liked. I turned my attention to the fruit as I sniffed out mango in it eating all of that before I went to the grapes. I stopped eating as I drank a good amount of eating as I started to get drossy,'Yep their is something in the water oh well and this is starting to get annoying.'

   Dereck was still sitting their but their was several other Angils their with one I recognized as Shawn and the other two I didn't know. Shawn spoke," How is he doing?" Dereck replied," He seems to be okay other than the occasional growls and hisses but then again he has only been here for about a day. One of the other ones tried to touch me as I whipped my tail upwards slicing his hand lightly with reflexes faster than Icatvak. Dereck laughed," Rick let him be. Ivan how is the meeting going for the hunt for the Dradvian hive." Just the mention of those things gets me pissed off.  Rick looked at me," Doesn't seem that he hates Dradvians with a passion." The one named Ivan nodded," I have placed pieces of dradvian in the park and they just move away from it I wonder what would happen if we placed a piece of Dradvian near him." Dereck spoke up," Not right now let his muscles heal some more the recovery is going to be close to a year at least." I growled in annoyance as I lashed my tail wishing I could nail them all. I drank some more water and fell back to sleep giving into the inevitable.

   I opened my eyes to look at the stars as it night now. Turning away from the window I turned my attention back to my food and water bowl. Eating the rest of the fruit and meat in the bowl before I turned my attention to the water taking some large sips before falling to sleep. 

   Opening my eyes I hissed as I felt a hand on my back as I whipped my tail as Dereck dodged it as he laughed," Well it took a while for you to react." He lifted me up softly unclipping the leash from the hook as I looked at him incredulously like are you trying to let me rip you to shreds. He easily interpreted my expression as he laughed as he spoke," We both know you won't rip me to shreds. I hissed as I dug my talons in his arm like you wanna bet your skin and blood. He winced," Alright alright I take it back but take it easy." I hissed softly as I laid back down in his arms as the door opened I recognized them as Shawn, Rick, and Ivan. Shawn spoke," What happened and you ready to head over to the vet." Dereck sighed," I took him out and I said just a few minutes ago,' We both know you won't rip me to shreds.' Well he did just that so remind me not to give him any ideas and yes he is extremely intelligent he understands us just fine." Shawn laughed," Wow like we didn't know he was intelligent he was dodging extremely fast strikes that we would barely able to dodge. Rick nodded," I saw the clips and everything looked like a blur. Not even the Gryphons on planet A-221 can move like that up until now they were considered to be the most evasive creature out of all the planets." Ivan tried to touch my tail as I flicked my tail upwards catching him in the arm as blood came to the surface. I lit my tail in hellfire as Dereck laughed," Seriously I think that means the next time you try that you get cut and burned with hellfire. Also can you cut the heat little buddy." I looked up and glared at him as we were outside. The sun felt even better than the damned heating pads as my back and I felt my muscles healing and bones as Dereck spoke," It seems the sun heals him faster." We walked into the vet as everyone turned to look at me as I hissed glaring at them as the typical warning sign for me about to breath fire. Dereck felt the heat building up in my throat as he spoke to his friends," Lets get him in there now." We walked into the back room as he placed me on a table as the vet ran a machine over my body as he spoke shocked," How is his injuries already almost healed?" Dereck replied," Well we found out if he is in direct sunlight his injuries heal quite a bit faster." The vet glared at Dereck," Quite a bit faster?" Dereck sighed," A lot a bit faster..." The vet nodded," Alright by the looks of it he should be fully healed and recovered in the next few days or so due to the sunlight on this planet. I would advise you to massage his neck muscles and wing muscles softly and keep him relaxed." I hissed as the vet tried to touch me as I sliced my tail at him as he dodged easily probably used to this kind of aggression from animals. 

   I growled as he carried me back to the apartment as he placed me back on the ledge clipping the leash back in place as I drank some water and ate some food as I fell to sleep giving into the drugs.
