Chapter 10

K'ell walked in the room and laughed,"Alright what happened." Icatvak sighed,"A training incident gone wrong." I was currently sitting on his head as I poked his nose with my tail as Toranto walked in and snickered," Well this is amusing and have you thought of a name." Icatvak sighed,"Still no. I am waiting for one to come to me." I smirked internally cause I already have a plan that is if it will work. I tensed slightly as I felt K'ell shadow over me as I turned my head snarling as I slashed my tail nicking his arm. He sighed,"How does he know that I am trying to touch him?" I scowled,'Has he already forgotten about my eyes. Geez I thought he was smart but I guess kenuin intelligence skipped him.' Icatvak lifted me off his head being gentle with my leg as it was still injured slightly as he placed me on his lap. I don't often fight unless he wakes me up when I am still sound asleep. He starts to rub my neck placing pressure on the parts that are tight. He started to stretch my wing as he studied it closely. K'ell spoke,"I wonder how fast he can fly and he hasn't flown at all due to not being able to land." Toranto replied,"Long and fast enough to stay in front of a noble Dradvian. So he has a crazy amount of stamina and agility. Plus it probably helps that he has those strange eyes. It seems to be in an earlier stages as well." I poked my head up as that was news to me. Icatvak spoke,"Well seems to be interested in this." I wiggled out of his grip as I looked at the branch he put in as I climbed back up into my cage falling asleep under the heat lamp.

    Opening my eyes I noticed that Icatvak was looking at me before he sighed walking into his room and laying down. I could now tell when he was asleep and I waited for around ten minutes as I sent my plan into action. Focusing in on him I spoke in his mind,"Call him Dylan." I sighed now I have to wait tell morning. I curled back up as I fell to sleep.

    I opened my eyes to see Icatvak coming out dressed in armor as I looked at him curiously. He noticed me looking at him as he sighed,"Border patrol. While I am gone do not mess anything up it will be for half the day. Also you are allowed to come out I prepared a sandy spot and a water spot if you just want to relax in the sand you can. Also there is some food on the table." I flicked my tail,'Like I need your permission to do anything.' As soon as he left I looked around for ways to escape. I looked at the vent taking note. I studied the window to see some kind of latch that seemed to require a fingerprint. I growled,'Stupid alien technology.' I felt someone contacting me as I opened my link and I heard Ashton say,"Hey bro what's up." I replied,"Same thing as the last time you asked and the time before that." He sighed,"Glad to see you still have the attitude. Also how is your leg doing" I growled,"Shut up Ashton. As for my leg it hurts but it is healing and it should be a few more days before I am fully healed since it turns out the injury is worse than we thought." Ashton growled,"Well that sucks also how is this Icatvak." I hissed,"He left me alone for around half the day." Ashton snorted,"If I was still human I would tell him never to trust you alone." I chuckled,"That would be good advice for him but we can't exactly talk now." He chuckled,"Glad you still have that sense of humor. Well see ya." I snorted,"Bye."

I climbed down from my cage and laid down in the sand as I felt an uneasy feeling worms itself in my stomach. I looked up seeing a small Dradvian around 3 feet long looking at me. I hissed as it jumped down and watched as it approached. My throat glowed green as I hardened my scales and talons. I watched the things muscles tense as it lunged at me. I released the flames as it blasted the small Dradvian full force smashing the thing in the wall as my flames came out the window as well as breaking the glass. I watched in surprise as the thing got back to its feet. I growled,'So its not a lower rank Dradvian. Perhaps a young low ranked noble or above.' The thing snarled at me as it jumped at me again as I watched its arm muscles contract as I realized it was about to try to slice me. I smirked as I released a huge wave of flames as the thing opened its mouth. Immediately it fell down dead. I sighed,'Geez I am glad that was over quickly luckily it wasn't any bigger.' The door opened as I saw Icatvak with a sword in hand as he sighed,"Well it seems you have taken care of it. Thank god your not hurt any worse." He walked over to me as he rubbed my head. He sheathed his sword as I narrowed my eyes at the vent seeing strange buggy eyes as I growled as Icatvak looked up flipping a canaster as a spear appeared as he stabbed the little creature.

      I snorted as I curled up under the heat lamp as I studied Icatvak slightly seeing his posture was tense as he spoke in a communication device," There has been a Dradvian Larva and a young noble ranked Dradvian here." A voice crackled back,"Copy and Icatvak good job with the Dradvian." He replied,"It actually wasn't me it was the little wyvern I have." The voice crackled back shocked,"That thing defeated a Dradvian with its leg in that condition." I hissed at being called a thing as Icatvak chuckled seeing my reaction of being called a thing," I don't think he likes to be called a thing. Also let the elders know I thought of a name for him and it's Dylan." The voice came back,"Understood." I froze,'Shit so they can here our mindlink.' I sighed,'Well nothing I could do about it now. I just hope he doesn't realize it was me.' I closed my eyes as I fell asleep.
