The Changed

Chapter 7

Growling I kept watch over the Kenuins in the early morning light below me as I wanted to move but haven't moved once to eat as they have been searching for whatever killed a Dradvian luckily for us they have not figured out it was us or me specifically. In short each second that passed I was growing more and more annoyed over the past few days. I have missed the Moon dance twice now and going on my third time if they don't move I am going to blast them with Hellfire. Ashton chuckled in my mind,"How is it going over there." I growled,"When I get out of this I will kill you my muscles are so stiffed." He chuckled nervously,"Please don't bro also I heard from Dominic and the others that you got some strange flames." I sent my consent,"Yes apparently I have hellfire." He growled,"Your overpowered." I hissed,"No I am not the only reason why I survived against that lower ranked Dradvian was because of my eyes. If I hadn't known I could harden my wings I would have been killed. Those things are no joke. Well see you. Tell everyone I say hi." He sighed,"Will do bro. Miss you don't do anything too stupid." I sent my amusement down the link,"Alright bro. But don't think your safe." He sighed,"Alright see ya." He cut the link as I watched. My eyes widened as I noticed a massive Dradvian right under me as I felt the overwhelming desire to kill the thing as one of the kenuins spotted it and yelled,"An elder noble Dradvian under a tree!" I felt the heat build up as I released a stream of flames at the Dradvian as the flames connected the Dradvian looked up as he jumped at me narrowly missing my tail as he climbed the tree. I let out a squeak of surprise at how fast this thing could climb despite its bulk.

   Winging my way through the trees I began to think I lost it as I saw a shadow above me. Looking up I saw the Dradvian jumping at me. Diving down I hid under a tree as I sat on the branch catching my breath. I growled as I heard branches snapping as it looked from me. Holding my breath as the thing passed under me. I controlled my desire to kill the thing because I was way out of my weight class. This thing was over four meters in length (15 feet in length) roughly two point five meters tall(8 feet tall) and probably several tons. So I was out of my weight, strength, and overall power class. I moved as the branch shook. The thing snarled leaping at me as I jumped in the air. I looked down seeing the jaws snap shut shattering the branch I was on. I breathed heavily as it circled the tree I was in as I lost sight of it for a second before it's powerful body rammed the tree hard as I lost balance as I almost hit the ground catching myself with my tail. I sighed as I felt it ram the tree again as I fully lost my grip as the tree fell. I quickly hardened my body as the tree fell onto me. I blasted my flames onto the tree quickly burning it as the Dradvian slowly moved towards me as I shot back in the air,' I hate this game of cat and mouse.' The Dradvian gave chase as I felt something closing in on me. My eyes widened as I saw the giant jaws closing onto my leg I put a huge burst of speed causing a slight gap as it once again gave chase as I flew into the air as I saw my friends dancing to the south for the moon song. Growling I flipped around as I flew north away from them as Adrian voice came into my head,"We just saw you why did you flip around." I growled,"Flipping around because unless you want a two ton Dradvian noble to kill you I am basically playing a game of cat and mouse. Also is this the general mind link." I heard Jessica reply,"Yes it is why." I smiled," Simply because it makes it easier not to explain everything later if there is a later asI am losing energy as I have been running from this thing for almost nine hours since I first ran into the stupid thing." Ashton spoke,"Come towards us we will give you a break." I growled,"No you guys would get killed almost immediately. One second." I blasted the Dradvian with a face full of hellfire. It roared in fury as I bolted,"Well I made it very pissed now." Ashton chuckled," You still have the magic touch to piss any animal off." I retorted,"Well we are animals now so shut up and this thing is no animal. It has endless stamina, brute strength, and crazy powerful jaws. It also is extremely intelligent. So you guys do not come near me. I will not let anyone else die." Disconnecting the general link I flipped in the air as the giant behemoth jumped over me I blasted its stomach with a huge blast of flames as the thing roared in pain as my eyes watched its tail muscles contract before swinging down almost hitting me as my reflexes kicked in dodging the giant tail. The thing crashed into a tree as voices came running towards as a thought came to my mind,'If the outside is flame resistant to higher ranked Dradvians what about the inside.' I took a deep breath as the Dradvian came running at me. It snapped at my head as I back winged preparing to blast it with high temperatures to cook it from the inside out. It whipped its tail around as I dodged it as the large jaws came forward biting down hard on my leg as it threw me as I slammed into a  tree. It lunged at me for the killing blow as it began to lunge at me I hardened my scales as it chomped on my neck breaking my neck bones and still tearing some flesh off. I released the flames as the Dradvian put more pressure. The creature released mehowling with pain as my flames ate away at its organs. As soon as I tried to place my leg down or move my neck bolts of pain shot through my system as my vision faded from white to black as I tried to move away. I felt the footsteps of Kenuins as they stopped in shock seeing me alive with the Elder Noble Dradvian dead. I hissed softly as one of the Kenuins came towards me. I tried to move in fear but put to much pressure in my leg. Stumbling I felt the kenuin grab my tail softly as he spoke," He seems to have gotten chomped on the neck bones probably broken as well as a leg bone shattered or something. I tried to lash out but once again I placed to much pressure as more dots appeared in my vision as I grew scared and fought to stay concious but I knew I was fighting a losing battle.  My last thought was,'Shit I am so screwed.'
