The Changed

Chapter 8

Groaning I opened my eyes as I grew panicked seeing I was in a glass cage. I watched the Kenuin sitting on a couch to my left fidgetting with some technologicical device. He looked over at me as I felt my throat was parched before seeing a water bowl and a food bowl. I felt a huge wave of pain hit me as I looked at my leg and realized I had a cast on it. I growled as the kenuin came over to me as he opened the cage as he moved the food and water bowl closer to me as I hissed before he took his hand out of the cage. I sniffed the food carefully as I ate some of the meat in it as I took a sip of the water as I felt drowsy. I sighed,'Great painkillers or somthing fantastic.' I tried to mind link Ashton but sadly nothing came through as I fell back to sleep.

I heard talking as I woke up as I looked to see the usual Kenuin sitting there as I narrowed my eyes at the other two as one looked at me," He seems to be healing quickly and has he tried to blast you with those black and red flames yet." The one that was usually here replied," No not yet then again he has been unconcious ninty five percent of the time so that could explain it. Plus he can hardly move his head enough due to the cast on his neck and cast on his leg. I was thinking of seeing if I can ask an elder on the council to see if he can track the Dradvians and kill them. After all its not often when a three foot long flying lizard that can take down an elder noble and by the looks of it alone plus he managed to puncture through the thick hide of thing in several spots."The second one spoke," Geez I didn't think that it was possible for anything to be able to kill a Dradvian or even a noble ranked one. Plus that elder was extremely old almost five centruies old by the looks of it. If the lower ranked nobles are this old... How old do you think the queen or the princess is." All of them were quiet as one of them spoke getting up," Well if you dont mind Icatvak I am going to pet your friend here." Opening the cage door and as soon as he got in range I struck at him sharpening my talon and ended up giving him a good sized cut. He sighed," At least we know he is alert and he has sharp talons." I looked at him wondering just how high there pain tolerance is. The one I scratched chuckled nervously,"I do not like how your friend is looking at me like that." They all laughed,"Well he is a wild animal also Icatvak did you see what his talents look like for a fraction of a second. They immediately turned crystallized or something. Now it looks normal also look at his eyes they look like crystals." I stilled,'Crap they already figured out my eyes. I wonder if they will figure out I have hellfire. Also weird name Icatvak. But who am I to talk I was a human now a wyvern.' I looked at the water and fruit bowl as I nibbled on it before drinking more water. I hissed,'Great the water is drugged with pain killers.' I closed my eyes to fall into the inevitable.

     Opening my eyes I noticed Icatvak once again sitting on his side of the couch tapping away at a strange computer of sorts. He looked over at me and smiled slightly," Well it seems you are awake. Let's see how you react to my touch." I growled defensively as I glared at the roughly nine foot tall alien. He opened the cage as I lashed out at him with my tail. He dodged my tail swipe as he slowly moved his hand towards me as I tensed as my neck glowed a very bright shade of green signaling I was about to use my flames. He took his hand away as the bright warning dissipated. He sighed sitting back down and gave me a thoughtful look as I tried to move my head. But sadly the cast on my neck restricted head movements. I growled in fury as the door opened as I carefully watched the new comers. I recognized them as the ones from yesterday. I lashed my tail softly as Icatvak smiled at them,"Hey Toranto and K'ell." Both of them waved K'ell spoke,"Well he seems to want to murder you right now." Icatvak chuckled,"True also he was about to blast me with those flames of his. I took a video by the way." I watched him press play as Toranto whistled,"Well we know when he is about to use his breath attack now. But we don't know the range." K'ell nodded,"True but I was there when I originally saw a blast of red and black flames come from the tree I also watched as the Dradvian chased after him as if he was a threat. From where I was standing the flames hit the Dradvian on the side from around five meters(16 feet) and it seemed concentrated. Perhaps he can control the density of his flames." Well that was news to me perhaps I will try it. My thoughts tapered off as I caught them starring at me. K'ell spoke,"Is it just me or does he have a thoughtful look on his face." I hissed at him as he chuckled,"Seems like it is." My throat glowed as Icatvak smirked,"Well it seems like he definitely has some control over his flames. But I am curious what did you say his flames colors were." K'ell replied,"Black and Red why but that only looked like a base flame. I caught multiple other colors. Blue, Purple, Green, even some white. Perhaps as he uses his flames more it changes color." Icatvak had a shocked look,"Do you guys think it is... Hell fire perhaps." I released the built up flames as it connected with the glass melting it in a hole. I shut my jaw to cut off the flames." Deadly silence sounded as I stuck my head out of the hole. Icatvak groaned,"Great now how am I supposed to get his food bowls when his head is sticking out." They chuckled as Toranto decided to try to touch my head as I tried to bite his hand. He sadly has quick reflexes that  saved him from receiving more painful blows. Toranto chuckled,"Geez he is quick I wonder how quick he really is when he is recovered." K'ell sighed," At this point you are just tempting him to nail you. He is watching every move we makes me curious if he can see our muscles." I growled,'How in the world did he figure that out.'
