Chapter 5

                                                                     Two weeks later
I growled slightly as the scientist used a whip to get us moving as I pulled his desk along with Ashton with our collars and our metal chains rattling. into a new room with him on his chair.They had basically enslaved us. Both of us had muzzles on as he grinned as we both stopped to catch our breath as I heard the familiar beep of the shock collar remotes as the whip cracked over our heads as the scientist growled,"Get moving creatures." We reached the room he wanted to be in as he pulled our collars stopping us as we collapsed. He smirked,"Well that was fun now let's have some fun." I growled as he began to shock us with our collars as I heard on the scientists monitor,"Where are the two wyverns in the artist corps." The man paled,"In here with me boss. Just-" The man on the monitor growled,"Bring them in now I know what you did while I was on that trip. In the dragon room now bring the two wyverns you abused with you."  The scientist sighed,"Yes sir." He turned off the communication device and smirked,"First though I am going to shock you. Then whip you then shock you again." He pressed the button as he shocked us on one of the lower settings before he stopped and whipped me as he shocked Ashton as he then stopped shocking him as he shocked me to the most painful setting. He unclipped the leads as he walked us back to the room as the boss stood there tapping his foot as he pulled a stun-gun shooting the abusive mad scientist in the chest as he grabbed the keys unlocking the normal leading collar as he took the muzzle off both Ashton and I placing us in our cages gently. He walked up to the scientist as he spoke," You do realize how much money we put into them right. They are not to be harmed anymore honestly I will be surprised if they don't ever come out you probably traumatized them for the past two and a half weeks I have been gone. I would for sure fire you but since you are so valuable you will be you so you will be stationed as a guard for a while." The man nodded,"Yes sir." The mad scientist left in a fury as the boss took off all the other chains except the shock collar and the magnetic chains that I had originally on."

Falling down I curled up as everyone were trying to get in my mind to ask what happened as I ignored them blocking them all. Ashton also tried to get in as I looked at him shaking my head slightly to get him to stop." He nodded as I closed my eyes. Drifting to sleep slowly.

Shooting awake I felt someone tap on my cage as I saw a little girl that looked exactly like the new boss as he came in,"Rose leave them alone you can look at them." The little girl whined,"But why they are so pretty and sparkly. Especially this one." I looked incredulously at Ashton as he howled with laughter everyone else was laughing as well as I growled,"Seriously you are even more shiny then me or is it because all my wounds healed." The little girl pouted as she looked at me,"By shiny lizard." Everyone continued laughing at me in the link as I growled,"How am I the most shiny? Either this little girl is demented, retarded, and autistic. Or just plain blind and stupid." Everyone howled with laughter at the girl in the mindlink as Adrian spoke,"W-Wow that was great." I scowled at Everyone as Emily chuckled,"My niece may be young but she is not blind, stupid, demented, retarded, or autistic." I snorted,"You sure Emily because she seems pretty demented to me." Emily sighed,"Alright fine she is a little bit demented and autistic. But you can call her whatever." I grinned,"With pleasure. Also I have a bad feeling of something in the future." Everyone looked at me as Dominic spoke,"What do you mean Dylan?" I shrugged,"Just a hunch and a gut feeling. That everything is about to change." Emily shrugged,"So is this turning into like if Dylan can scare us." I narrowed my eyes,"I am not joking Emily." Sophia sighed,"Honestly I have been feeling off now for a little while my self so I agree with Dylan on this one." Ashton nodded,"Dylan's instincts are rarely ever wrong. After all who knows this better than me he actually saved me several times back when we were humans." I looked at him surprised,"When?" He smirked,"Well one time when you told me to be careful because of a bad gut feeling and you weren't sick you ended up making me cautious of my surroundings that day so I managed to avoid getting into a car crash. The second time was when we were on the field trip to the mountains when I slipped if you hadn't grabbed my wrist I would have fallen down the side of the mountain. The third time was when those guys were following us and you directed us away from that neighborhood. The last time was when you swerved down the road into the highway lane when a gun fired missing my head by an inch  if you hadn't swerved the bullet would have hit you and me." I exclaimed,"You said later that a baseball almost hit us!" He shrugged,"I lied to you because you would have panicked." I growled,"True I would have panicked. But you could have told me when we got back home." He sighed,"Sorry Your right I should have told you." I grumbled,"Not that it matters anymore anyways." Ashton looked amused,"Seriously bro can we just call this talk a day." I sighed,"Fine."

Suddenly the building shook as I tensed,"What the crap. Was that an Earthquake." Sophia growled,"I don't think so... I think that was an explosion." The lights flickered as the boss came running in and spoke,"I know you guys still remember who you once were I am going to free you because it's either that or you get captured by what ever is attacking. But first I need to get those chains off Dylan." He quickly ran over to me and unlocked the shock collar and magnetic chains as he did the same to everyone else. He looked at his sister,"I am sorry Emily know I love you. Stay alive." I heard Emily speak softly,"I will brother. I will." He pressed a button the remote as all the cages popped open as jumped out I snarled seeing the mad scientist running towards us with a whip." I shot forward,"Go I will deal with him this is payback and I have a feeling that it will be so much more painful then what would happen with what is going on outside." Everyone flew off as he tried to whip them as I grabbed the whip with my claws as he spoke,"G-good boy." I snarled as I slashed my talon at his face cutting his eye. I then proceeded to kill him with a slash to the carotid artery killing him. Catching up to the others I heard someone say as I realized we were on the edge of a megapolis city,"What in the world is that?" Looking up I saw Spaceships shooting some kind of laser or something as it hit the tanks or any human they turned to goo than the goo evaporated. I spoke," Lets get out of here." We Immediately flew off as we saw a large park I heard screams of fear as some of the others noticed one of the bright lights trailing after us as we quickly moved at a faster pace. Looking behind us I saw the light right behind several of our tails as I growled."Keep moving. Don't look back." Everyone immediately flew in front of me as I flew in a different direction. Smirking,'So I was right the light goes after anything that is alive is closest to.' Flying back I performed complex aerial maneuvers as I flew after my friends. Stealing a glance behind I saw the light gaining on us. I hissed in surprise as I put on more speed as it gained on us as I heard screams of fear as it passed over me and everyone else. I sighed as I realized it can't hurt us. Before anything can happen to us we got to a large park as we all hide around the area. As red and black aliens carried weapons as they patrolled the streets with plasma blades, guns, and lots of strange devices. Several of the Aliens had spotted us and came towards us with weapons pointed at the trees. I hissed,"Everyone do not move a muscle other wise we could all get killed." Everyone nodded as I carefully watched every single movement they made. Finally several hours later they left as we all took a break in the trees. Closing my eyes I soon drifted to sleep.
