Chapter 16

   I was currently sitting on top of Derecks head as the door opened as Shawn came in and laughed," What happened?" Dereck replied," No idea he just climbed up onto my head and sat their and he hasn't gotten off yet." I hopped off as I flew slowly so a spot where the sun always hit. I curled up and Immediately fell asleep that is until a bad feeling entered my system.

   Shooting awake I hissed softly as I looked around the room as I noticed beady black eyes looking at me as I shoot at the vent as the small Dradvian bolted away from me as I gave chase as I eventually cornered the damned thing near a fan as I prepared my breath attack as I lunged forward as it tried to nail me I blasted the small dradvian with a small amount of flames as I smirked seeing the fan open knowing I had a chance to get far away. Activating my eyes I shot through the fan as I quickly flew towards the park as I tried to get in contact with Ashton," Hey bro whats up." I heard him growl,"Nothing much just get back here quickly their is a Dradvian we can'ttell what rank it is."  I put on a huge burst of speed as I appeared next to Ashton as he almost fell out of the sky," Holy shi- How fast are you exactly you may be my best friend but I will rip every secret you have out of your brain." I chuckled nervously knowing he would. I narrowed my eyes at the Dradvian and I said," HAs everyone tried their breath attacks. I heard Emily, Adrian, and Dylan reply," Yes." I spoke," Lets see how this dradvian likes the taste of hell fire." My throat glowed as the powerful flames built up in the back of my throat. I released the flames a second later as the powerful flames proceeded to burn the crap out of the dradvian the flames went through the scales as I landed on the ground as I smirked," Geez that must have been a low  ranked one probably. Easily not a noble so probably a servant. But geez this is an old one. Easily older than the Angil that was taking care of me." I spun around and flew south as I curled up in a tree as Ashton spoke," Several Angils are heading your way."I growled," Is one of them carrying a light weight sword on his hip." Emily replied," Yes. Why?" I sighed," Thats Dereck. He's someone we can trust stay in the trees tell I say so." Everyone gave me the silent treatment as I sighed," Don't you dare lead him to me!" Ashton growled," Your not fully healed are you I noticed you taking slower movements. Tell the truth."  I growled," I am not going back I have been cooped in a room for the past few days." 

     I sensed everyones evil glee of forcing me back towards Dereck as Ashton spoke evilly and kinda sadly," Honestly you belong more with him than us with him you will be able to go after the Dradvians." I replied stubbornly," I am not leaving you guys again." Adrian growled," You will or else. You are in no condition to fight back against us." I narrowed my eyes," Oh really." I sensed a presence as I dodged a blast of lightning from Emily as I growled," "Are you trying to make it seem like you are forcing me to leave the group?!" Sophia spoke," Yes we are because you can easily help eliminate Dradvians and protect us." She opened her mouth blasting flames at me as I narrowed my eyes,"You forgot I am immune to fire." She gave a mental smirk," I know but remember Dominic and Adrian have Ice and poison. I wasn't known for my intelligence for nothing." I disappeared in a flash of speed wincing knowing my muscles can't take much more as they are still healing. I narrowed my eyes as I finally activated my eyes sensing Dereck and the others running from the south towards us as I dodged my best friend as he growled in frustration as I snarled," Stop it Ashton I am staying with my friends while I like it or not." Ashton sighed,"Remember the promise we made." I nodded saying nothing as he continued,"If either one of us was being selfish we would make sure that we would do anything in our power to make the other see the sense and do what needs to be done." I narrowed my eyes," I do remember that promise yes but I am not the one being selfish I came back to help you so therefore the promise doesn't apply." Ashton sighed," Your right which is why I am sorry." I looked at him confused as Dominic blasted frost breath at me as it connected with my wings as the extra weight almost threw me to the ground as I lit hellfire on my wings as Ashton spoke," Good night my friend." I felt a pinprick on my neck as I growled as my eyes rolled up in my head as I heard everyones voices just before I fully lost consciousness," Sorry Dylan..." 

   I felt the familiar heat of heading pads as I growled as hellfire flickered up and down my body as I lashed my tail swinging it as hard as my small body can make it as I also wrapped hellfire around my tail increasing the sharpness and to my surprise their wasn't even a scratch I growled,'Bloody Aliens and their damned bloody tech.'  A slight ring echoed as Dereck looked over with a piercing gaze I felt uncomfortable by the gaze as I curled up and used my wings as he sighed," You somehow escaped finding a small dradvian and killing that one before flying to the park and taking on another Dradvian and killed that one as well. What am I going to do with you?"
