I was sat at the back of the bus alone. I had my earphones in as I stared out the window, blocking out the world. My arms were crossed, something I did when I was angry -along with throwing my hands about or setting them on my hips-.

It felt like everyone was bickering. Michael was sat away from Calum. Ryan wasn't sitting beside his girlfriend, Julea. I was sat on the opposite end of the bus from Jack. Actually, there weren't people sitting in front of me for three rows and then Michael sat there.

Luke and Emma were sitting beside each other. I don't know if they are going out but it sure seemed like it. She kept whispering things in his ear and he kept burying his face in the crook of her neck, probably kissing her neck.

There hadn't been much of view for the past five minutes as all I could see was trees. In the corner of my eye, I spotted Ashton making his way down to the back of the bus.

I don't think anyone had even seen me here as my back was basically on the part of the seat you sit on and my knees were pulled up to my chest, resting on the back of the seat in front.

Ashton sat down beside me and smiled at me. I pulled my earphones out and whispered, "Hi."

"What's wrong?" He asked, pouting slightly.

"Nothing. I'm just tired," I lied. Honestly, I felt really guilty about pushing Jack away over something so petty and basically irrelevant.

He rested his head on my shoulder. I whispered, "What are you doing? Someone could see us."

"I couldn't even see you down here. That's why I took the walk down the aisle, to see where you were. Plus, nobody will look back," he mumbled softly, "Now tell me what's wrong."

"I had a fight with my friend Jack over something really small. I shouldn't have gotten so annoyed. Have you ever gotten so irritated by the tiniest thing and then that irritation leads to pure anger and you do something stupid?"

He chuckled, "All the time." He pressed soft kisses along my collar bone which was exposed. The top Jack bought was in my bag, this was his top. Because he's so tall he has to wear a large so it falls off one shoulder on me.

I wriggled, "Ashton, stop." I really wasn't in the mood.

"I should probably start thinking of a way to ask you out," he mumbled, "Since you're playing hard to get."

I chuckled, "the man has to be the dominant one and take charge. Simple facts."

Soon the bus had arrived back at school. We all loaded off the bus, walking to our cars or our parents had picked us up. Everyone walked off and got a lift while I began my walk home.

I was about 10 minutes away when a black jeep pulled into the street just down the road and sat at the exit. I kept walking. I wasn't far away when the door opened and Ashton stepped out. He stood up on the floor of the car and looked over the roof at me. He asked, "I'll give you a lift."

"It's not that long of a wAlk-" I began to say when he cut me off.

"It wasn't a question," he smirked. He walked round to the passenger side and held the door open while I climbed in.

He got in and pulled out of the street. He smiled and asked, "Whats your address?"

"It's the next turn right," I smiled back at him.

He put his hand on my thigh and looked at me briefly. He smiled a gorgeously goofy smile and said, "I've found the perfect way to ask you out."

"I highly doubt that," I smirked.

"Just you wait," he smiled. He took the right turn and carried on down the road.

"Go left here," he did as he was told and turned down the small cul-de-sac. "Number 2."

He pulled up at the end of my driveway. I was about to get out when he cupped my face, turning my face towards his. He kissed me gently and quickly. He smiled, "Just you wait."

I got out and made my way up to the door. I waved at him before walking in. He waited until I got into my house, cute.
