"Oh my God." Kyunghwa breathed out when there was a knock on the door at 5am.
There stood her daughter, tear stained, bloodied and with two juxtaposing wings. "Oh my God." Kyunghwa repeated out, the realisation dawning on her and tears sprung to her eyes.
"No, no, Chaerin what did you do."
At the commotion in the early hours of the day, Chanwoo came down the stairs, rubbing his eyes in attempts to awake himself.
"Who's at the-" he stopped, eyes falling to his daughter.
Nothing could explain the emotion he felt and he knew by the way she was shaking that she wasn't alone during the time of her transition. The way blood matted to her neck, the bite mark still visible.
Chanwoo teleported in front of the girl, scaring her momentarily as she hadn't seen this side of her parents before.
"Who were you with?" He demanded, eyes turning red and Chaerin gulped- scared. Chanwoo tilted his daughters neck, a better look at the bite and he growled- pushing past the girl.
"Wait- Dad!" Chaerin yelled out when her Father ran onto the streets to find whoever it was. "Who was it Chaerin, who the fuck bit you!" He screamed out.
The man grabbed Chaerin by the wrist, dragging her out with him- a shocked Kyunghwa following. "Honey please, she's scared."
"What about when she was bitten, she doesn't seem scared about that!" He argued back. "H-honey please, Chanwoo it was probably Jeno, right?" Kyunghwa said hopeful, turning to Chaerin.
"It was Jeno right?" She said desperately, looking into her daughter's eyes as the girl avoided the eye contact- guilty.
The air around them changed, a puff of white smoke appeared and the boy stepped out- gripping the demon in his hands.
"Jeno-" Kyunghwa exclaimed in relief but stopped once she saw who was in his grip. Chanwoo stepped in front of the girls in protection.
Jeno's features were cold, stern and disappointed as he looked at Chaerin. "Jisung." Chanwoo breathed out in disbelief.
Jisung has a slight smirk on his lips, fangs still out, blood around his mouth and clothes.
"Jeno...what-" Kyunghwa said in confusion, shock and denial. Jeno clutched Jisung tighter in his hands as he spoke.
"He bit her."
