{Niklaus POV}

Dropping my lunch's body to the floor, I look over to Rebekah after Stefan has left the storage unit. "What was all that about Gloria's, brother?" She sat next to me on the day bed.

"I had a vision of the girl from the woods. She was reaching for me with burnt hands.'' I paused for a moment thinking of what I saw, "She smiled, like she was happy to see me."

"Well what did Gloria have to say about it." she nudged me with her shoulder, i gave her a small smile.

"I know where she is and what she is." Another hybrid. I couldn't help but laugh a little at the idea that all this time I had been feeling so alone while dreaming of someone so much like myself. In a small voice I admitted, "I want to go to her sister. I want to know her."

"Ok. Then we'll find her and take her. Shouldn't be hard." she shrugged and played with her hair a little.

"I'm going to check on Gloria. So we can get on with all this.'' I feel like possessing her could render me an unstoppable force. First her then my hybrids. I just need time to think. To clear my mind.

Empty bar, empty back room. Hmm. things are gone. The bloody witch left! Hell. I am so sick of everything. I just want people to do what they say they will! Well, back to the family mausoleum. It's time to head to Texas.

Walking up to Stefan and Rebekah I could tell something was wrong. "What's going on here?"

"He's not with us Nik I can tell." Rebekah crossed her arms over her chest. "He's been asking about Mikael."

Quickly I snapped his neck and looked at my sister, "Looks like this day just keeps getting better and better." dropping his body to the floor, i stepped over it with one hand resting on my hip and the other running through my hair, "well let's get the car loaded and head to texas for the girl, then to mystic falls. Now do you want to drive or snap stephans neck all the way there?"
---------------------------------------------
Rebekah but the car in park as Stefan was beginning to wake up from his neck being broken for what seemed like the hundredth time. It could possibly have been. I surveyed the area as I hoped out of the car. The grass was tall and the bushes were thick on the wetland. There was a slight breeze coming off the ocean. "This is the area with all the reports of wolves."

I grabbed Stefan by the scruff of his neck, dragging him out of the car, "Now listen, Ripper. If you try to run I will gladly catch you then drag you bloody, beaten ass back to Mystic Falls and paint the town red with your brother's and friends' blood. Do I make myself clear?" he nodded his head in understanding.

My sister was adjusting her hair that had become tangled from the humidity and wind. "Well it certainly smells of wet dog out here," she looked about, taking in her surroundings, "I am not wearing the appropriate attire for this." her heels already sinking into the mud.

"Then just take off your shoes bekah. We're gonna run in that direction." I pointed towards the west. The smell of wolves was coming in strong from there. We ran till the stench of them burned our nostrils. Only stopping when we stumbled upon a series of cabins in somewhat of a semi circle around what seemed to be an outside kitchen. All of them are decorated with paint.

Looking around Rebekah had a clear look of disgust on her face. I can't say I blame her. "This place is a dump." the wood on the cabin was worn from the salt in the wind. Seeing smoke still coming from the kitchen.

"They are close. Hiding I'd assume.'' I tried carefully to listen for a heartbeat but couldn't hear a single one coming from any of the cabins. I raised my finger to my lips gesturing to the others to be silent. I couldn't help but grin at the feeling of this being a game of hide and seek. We spread out each moving towards a cabin.

"Ahhhh" I saw a girl scream as she landed on Rebekah and quickly snapped her neck just as my sister was about to open a cabin door. She had crumpled in a heap in the mud after the other girl had disappeared into the bushes. I turned my body to run after her when I felt someone land on my shoulders, knocking me to my knees. Legs wound tightly around my neck making it so I couldn't move my head to see my attacker. I only saw Stefan's eyes go wide in panic. We had clearly underestimated this pack.

Reaching up in an attempt to pull the assailant from my shoulders, grasping only what felt like wristes. The leggs tightened around my neck, making breathing difficult as well as getting decent leverage on this person. Hands placed themselves on either side of my head and then a type of pain I had never felt before. Like a pulling on my energy, draining. Stefan started to sprint at us but the attacker whispered in a soft feminine voice, blasting him back and to the ground.

The pain stung so deeply I dropped to my hands. They were becoming grey. This must be her, the hybrid. She's desicating me. She is capable of desiccating me! With a loud crack one of the cabin doors swung open and wooden bullets flew out. All missing the assumed targets. Rebekah got to her feet and was only able to take a step before the witch on my back used magic to simply snap her neck again. This is it. I've been beaten when I wasn't even expecting a fight.

The cabin that the bullets had hailed from stepped out a boy. The boy from the vision. He couldn't have been older than eleven but he stood with great confidence holding a gun aimed at my head and another aimed at Stefan's heart.

"James get back inside this instant!" her voice boomed from above me. She held such authority in her demand but the boy didn't move his eye. He keeps his focus on Stefan who was slowly moving to his feet. With this distraction being my best opportunity i reached up to grab her wrist once again. I squeezed it as tight as my weakened form could allow.

Snap!

"Jayy!" The boy dropped his focus on Stefan and looked to the girl on my shoulders. She didn't even flinch at her wrist breaking like a twig. She kept on desicanting me. But at least Stefan found the opportunity to grab hold of the boy.

"Let him go." Stephan held the boy's throat in one hand and his arm in the other.

"Don't listen to him." the boys gasped out.

Snap!

Stephan hand broke the boy's arm. For that I felt a slight flinch. "I said let. Him. go."

Snap!

and there goes the other arm. Stephan shoves the boy to the ground. "Jayy, dont stop. Don't listen to him." He is too young for any of this. Too young to be ready to attempt at sacrificing himself like the.

Snap!

Stefan lifted his foot from the boy's knee. His screams so loud it drowns out the sounds of distant waves. A soft whimper comes from the girl and I can feel her hands tremble.

I saw Rebekah raise her head slightly. She looked terrified at the sight in front of her and shook slightly. She must be thinking about what I am. He isn't much younger than Hendrik was when he died.

Stefan's shoe hovered over the boys chest, "Let. Him. Go." the girl clenched tighter, desiccating me even further. Shaking violently. The boy, James, closed his eyes as Stefan began to bring down his foot. This is too far, even for me.
