Chapter Seven: Butterbeer Date

-Hermione-

It wasn't a weekend but the professors arranged a trip in Hogsmeade. The others were excited because the professors said that they can go with students from other houses. Hermione looked for Luna to invite her to come with her and talk about Nargles and stuff.

She eventually found Luna but she wasn't alone.

-Luna-

Luna was excited because the professors explained that they can go with students from other houses. Her first thought was to go to Hermione. But she was too slow to ask and now someone had asked her. "Luna? Do you want to come with me? I have plans for us!" Draco asked, Luna couldn't help but agree. Draco smiled and thanked her for coming with him.

Luna then saw Hermione getting asked by Harry. She smiled and went over to her as Draco followed her. "Hi there, Hermione!" Luna approached Hermione, "Luna! I'm so sorry. Harry had already asked me!" Hermione said in a apologetic voice. "No worries, Hermione." Luna reassured. "Luna? How about you tag along with us? We'll find you a partner!" Harry offered, "Don't worry, Harry. I'm all set. Draco's coming with me." Luna said in airy voice.

The two looked at Luna shocked as Draco look down. "It's okay, Luna, I ca—" Draco said embarrassed. "No, no! We'd be delighted if you tag along with us!" Hermione offered. Harry looked at her as if she was insane. "Just no funny business, Malfoy." Harry say in a intimidating voice. Draco then nodded and held Luna's hand. Harry did the same to Hermione.

Soon after, the two couples were at Hogsmeade. The two girls had a debate as to where to go first. The two eventually agreed on going to The Three Broomsticks first.

-Harry-

They went inside The Three Broomsticks and the men being gentlemen, they pulled out a chair for the girls to sit and sat across them. "We'll order, Ladies." Harry approached. Draco dragged Harry somewhere instead of ordering butterbeers.
"What now, Malfoy?" Harry asked with a stern voice.
"Look, Harry, Listen to me. You like Hermione, I like Luna. So, it's only logical to help each other ask them to the Valentines Ball." Draco asked Harry.
"Malfoy, this isn't you. Like three days ago you bumped into me now you're "helping" me?" Harry asked the blonde.
"Okay, Fine! I might did glare at you but please? Help me out in here!" Draco pleaded.
"Fine, but if I hear that you're only playing with Luna, I'm going to hex you." Harry says as he threatens Draco. Draco nodded "I won't, I promise." Draco promised. The two went back at the counter and ordered 4 Butterbeers.

-Luna-

Luna and Hermione were talking about Nargles and stuff when Luna pulled out her Spectrespecs.
"What's that, Luna?" Hermione asks,
"It's called 'Spectrespecs'! It let's you see wrackspurts! I'm pretty sure you know what wrackspurts are." Luna explained.
"I do, thanks to you!" Hermione exclaimed then smiled.
"I also got you one, Hermione." Luna continued. Hermione was shocked and frantically thanked her. They both put them on and they saw some people who had wrackspurts in their ear, especially Ron and Neville. The two ladies were approached by two  men holding butterbeers in both hands. They thanked the two men as Harry and Draco look at them confused. "You two look ridiculous" Draco joked whilst Harry laughed and the two ladies giggled. "What are you two wearing anyways?" Harry asked. "Spectrespecs!" The two girls said in unison. "Spectro what?" Draco looked at Harry who was equally confused as him. The two men laughed as they watch the two looked around claiming they saw wrackspurts and stuff. They enjoyed their time at The Three Broomsticks having fun and drinking Butterbeer. The professors had ordered for students to go back inside. Luna had told Hermione that she can keep the glasses. Hermione thanked her as the two couple seperated. As for Luna, Draco had escorted Luna until the Tower of Ravenclaw, "Thank you, Draco. I had a wonderful time." Luna stated. "Me too, Luna." Draco replied. Luna pecked Draco's cheek as he went bright red. Luna started to go inside when she was stopped by Draco, "Luna, w-would you consider it a d-date?" Draco stuttered. Luna nodded as she pecked his cheek one last time and bid him goodnight. Draco smiled widely as he went back to the dungeon feeling giddy. For Hermione, Her and Harry walked down the hallway. No one dared to speak, Hermione stopped at the front of the painting and faced Harry, "I had a wonderful time with you, Harry." Hermione said sweetly as the painting opened. "Thank you too, Hermione." Harry replied, Hermione went inside leaving Harry outside. "Uh, Hermione? You forgot to let me in." Harry said shyly as Hermione went red as she realized she left him outside. Once Harry was inside, Hermione frantically apologized to him whilst Harry said it was no problem.
As they weee inside the Common Room. They found no one inside, Hermione pecked Harry's cheek as he went red as a tomato. Hermione started to head to her room when she felt a hand grabbed her arm, she looked at the person but they got to close their lips brushed to one another. The two blushed deeply. "I w-was wondering if it was a d-date." Harry started to stutter, "I g-guess so. Goodnight Harry!" Hermione exclaimed and ran back to her room. Harry stood there red as he head to his room with wobbly legs. He fell asleep still blushing.
