"This one or this one" Kai asks his brothers as he stands in front of a full length mirror.
"Ohhh the blue one makes your hair pop" Taehyung says excitedly.
"Why don't you wear that green sweater you got from one of the neighbors on your birthday?" Namjoon suggests as he stands in the open doorway of Kai's room, leaning against the door frame.
"Because it makes me look like a grandpa" Kai explains
"It's comfy and warm"
"And ugly" Taehyung chimes in
"Who cares if it's ugly? It's your best friends birthday party not a fashion show"
"Namjoon go read a book or something" Taehyung gently shoves Namjoon into the hallway and shuts the door on him.
"Thank you" Kai is grateful and goes back to worrying about what he's going to wear. He still needed to choose a shirt and decide what to do with his hair. Would he part it? Go curly?
"Oh my god you like someone" Taehyung gasps.
"What!? No!" Kai turns around and turns down the thought.
"Don't lie to me! You're stressing out about how you look, you never care about how you look, the only time you did was when you were going on a date with Hongjoong"
"It's not a crush! I just.... think he's kind of cute" Taehyung sits down on the bed and pats the seat next to him signaling for his baby brother to have a seat.
"What's his name?" He asks once Kai is seated.
"Yeonjun.." the youngest cheeks tinted pink from embarrassment.
"Yeonjun... is he cute? What's he like? Has he made a move? Is he good at sports? What's about grades, you know Namjoon cares about grades- have you made a move???" Kai's head was spinning from all these questions he had to take a breather to figure out what his answers would be.
"Taehyung calm down, I don't like him yet I just... am curious"
"Good enough for me. Now answer my questions!"
"Okay well... he is really handsome I can't deny that. He's um.... very confident and cocky because he knows he can be, which answers another question. Yes he's good at sports and has good grades, in fact he's good at literally everything, I wonder how life could be so easy for him. Yes he has made multiple moves but I've turned him down." Taehyung was smiling by the end of it.
"Let's make sure you look hot tonight!"
