"I'm having a party tonight" Taehyun says to Huening Kai over the phone.
"Okay? You always have parties" Kai isnt impressed as he chops up bell peppers in his kitchen, his phone on speaker next to the cutting board.
"Choi Yeonjun will be there" Taehyun sings in a tune.
"S-So what..." Kai gulps "...time does it start?"

It was approximately 8:26 pm and Huening Kai made sure to be late this time. His hair was flat today and he didn't over dress like last time. Truthfully he was nervous, it seems like he hasn't seen Yeonjun in months despite it being only a week max. Nonetheless, he straightens out his thin pink jacket- it was snowing but it's not like it stopped him before.

Choi Yeonjun had spent two hours of this night choosing an outfit to wear. Without realizing it, he changed his outfit a today of sixteen times with the goal of looking good for Mr Huening Kai.
He had finally decided on a mature style tonight, sporting his glasses for once and tucking away his eye contacts.

His philosophy is that if he looks mature then Kai will start to take him more serious.
He's standing with Dean and a few classmates. On the outside he pulled off a cool calm. He jokes with his friends like usual and is the life of the party without fail. He was such a good actor that absolutely nobody could tell that he was anxiously waiting for Kai; glancing around quite often in search for him.
Finally, after a long search, he finds Kai standing by the front door, looking around for one of his friends.
"I'm gonna go talk to someone" Yeonjun tells his friends.
"With Kai?" Dean teases
"Ew imagine being a fag" Daniel jokes
"I know the guy who was Felix's bottoms isn't talking"
"Yeah you're the f slur too" Dean sides with his best friend
