12 (He's a friend)

"Ugh look at them" Beomgyu looks at Soobin and Taehyun with disgust. The two made things official over the weekend and since then they'd been all over each other "some of us are single"

"I bet you could pull hella hoes if you changed your orange hair" Huening Kai says with a smile as he plays a game on his phone.

"Whatever I'm dying my hair today, I have an appointment"

"With your mom?"

"No, my mom gave up on being a hairdresser and wants to do nails now" Huening Kai glances down at his friends hands.

"Why did you look at my hands?" Beomgyu asks

"No reason"

"YOURE LYING!"

"Who is?" Yeonjun inserts himself in the conversation. Beomgyu and Kai turn to look at him, and are shocked to see him now blonde.

"What happened to you" Beomgyu is shook at how good Yeonjun looks right now. He's wearing the same black tracksuit as everyone else but it looks like designer brand on him.

"I dyed my hair, does it look good?" The blonde asks as he runs a hand through his hair.

"Your hair looks fried" Huening Kai said bluntly.

"HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHHAA" Dean bursts out laughing. He had over heard as he made his way over.

"WHAT ARE YOU LAUGHING AT!?" Yeonjun elbows his friends side followed by a punch in the arm, then Dean shoves Yeonjun back.

"YEONJUN. DEAN."  Mr Sens raises his voice

"What? We're just playing around!" Yeonjun smiles innocently

"Yeah well I better not see you two playing around like that again."

"OkayOkay we're sorry Mr Sir" Dean bows his head apologetically. The teacher gives them a sharp glare and turns back around.

Today, the class had a field trip to a zoo. Exams before winter break start tomorrow and the school decided to give the students a trip to relax before hand.

Boys and girls were not allowed on the same bus. Lots of students complained about this but Huening Kai didn't care because he didn't really have gal pals.

Soobin and Taehyun sat in the front because they wanted to sleep on the way since they had to wake up extra early today.

Everybody knew the back of the bus would be lively so Beomgyu and Huening Kai decided to be neutral by sitting in the middle of the bus.

Yeonjun and Dean sat more towards the back. The two fought for window seat and, to no surprise, Yeonjun won.

"If he keeps rough housing then Mr Sens is going to get him in trouble. Idiot" Huening Kai says

"Who?" Beomgyu asks

"Yeonjun"

"Ohhh well you must really be paying attention cause I haven't noticed. In fact, the two are unusually quiet for a trip."

Now that Huening Kai thinks of it, his attention has been wandering to Yeonjun.

'Maybe it's because of his hair..' Kai looks back and to his horror Yeonjun looks up at the same time. He snaps his head back forward. Right now he feels like he's just ran a mile. Breathless.

'Jeez, why did he have to go blonde? He's taking the whole golden boy thing too seriously'

Huening Kai knows exactly what's happening. He's developing a.... crush ...

No! He can't. It hasn't even been that long since his break up with HongJoong. He needs to focus on himself. Plus, it's not like Yeonjun is serious anyways. He's a friend and that's all he'll ever be.

So, he decides that starting from now he would distance himself from the boy as much as possible until these feelings subside.

"I TOLD YOU BOYS TO STOP MESSING AROUND! DEAN SWITCH SEATS WITH HUENING KAI"

"WHAT? We were just playing" Dean whines.

"Switch. Now."

When Huening Kai takes a seat next to Yeonjun he feels like his heart is going to explode.

"Sorry you had to switch seat because of us.." Yeonjun smiles apologetically while scratching the back of his ear.

"I-it's okay.... I'm just going to sleep now" Huening Kai closes his eyes and leans his head back.

'Oh my god why is this happening to me! Was it weird that I just automatically went to sleep? What if he gets bored...' thought after thought Huening Kai felt like he was going crazy.

Then, he felt a weight on his shoulder. He opens his eyes and turns head and finds Yeonjun sleeping on his shoulder.

'All that fighting must have tired him. Idiot. Whatever I'll let it slide this time' with a blush on his face Huening Kai closes his eyes. Might as well try to sleep right?
