"So, your friend saved you, princess? I'm still going to win the race anyways. I'm already at the top of the volcano, and the only thing standing between me and the finish line is road. Only road."
After that, everyone knew that the cat responsible for saying that was the one with the purple car.
"You won't get there first!" Katie yelled.
"And don't call her princess." Fern kind of blushed to that.
"I can call anyone what I want because I'm the best. I never lose. Everyone respects me. Now stop wasting my time and die so I can win the race!"
The cat ran off.
"We don't need a car to win a race, show-off!" Fern yelled, not noticing the cat was gone.
"Fern. No matter what, the race cat won't let her win. If we can get there in time, we can be the winners."
"Alright. But wait, where are the other cats in the race?"
"Probably waiting. Now come on."

"And the winner is..."
"It's me, it's me, it's me!" Katie heard the cat with the purple car whisper.
"The prince and his friend."
"WHAT!?" The cat asked.
"Cheater." The race cat mumbled.
"We're a great duo." Fern complimented to himself and Katie.
"As for the reward, we hill give you the Electric- What?"
Some of the cats in the cround chatted. The Electric medal was gone.
"We're sorry for the inconvienence, but some one has stolen the medal."
"And I think I know who it is." Fern said with a little fear in his eyes, pointing at something.
The calico's fur was slowly turning darker, and  smoke was coming from them.
"Another Shadow-Shifter!?" Katie exclaimed.
"HAH!" The shadow cat laughed. "You thought I was a normal racer this whole time? I kind of am, but this was part of our whole scheme!"
"Alright, I'm bored already." Fern said, kind of bored. "Katie, blast him with fire or something."
"I'm a she." The shadow-shifter explained. "And for me, I can't be beaten with fire. It's i-"
The cat covered her mouth.
"What is it?" Katie asked.
"Pretty sure she almost said ice there." The racer cat said.
"Y-you don't need to know that."
"Alright. You're done speaking. Let me shoot ice on you."
Katie tried to shoot ice onto the cat, but nothing happened.
"May I try?" Fern asked.
"Fine." Katie handed over the stone. "I don't even think it'll work thou-"
Fern successfully froze the the cat incide a chunck of ice.
"But we need the-"
"Stone?" Fern had the stone in his hand.
"That's great! But how do I carry all these stones now? I want to hold them all, but-"
Katie realized the race cat had a sash bag.
"Can I have that sash bag?" She asked the racer.
"Well, I guess. It did nothing for me." The cat took off the sash. "Here you go."
"Thanks!" Katie put the stones in her bag.

"Fire, water, snow, plant, wind, electric, what else?" Katie asked King Calico.
"You're missing stone." King Calico answered.
"And where do I find that?"
"Well, I have read the tale a million times to know all of this. Fire was in a jungle where a cat always lit fires, water was in two peninsulas connected together, snow was in the Antarctic somewhere, plant was floating somewhere in the sea, wind was in a very windy place with a mysterious elevator, electric was found in a volcano, and stone was under the bottom of the ocean."
"But won't we need swim gear?"
"You have the water stone and the wind stone. I suggest that Fern could hold the wind stone while you can hold the water one."
"Alright. Thanks, dad."
"Wait. Did you just call me dad?"
"Umm... Yes. Wait, no. I never said anything, okay? Now, I'm going to get Fern to get the stone stone, so just... don't be too crazy, okay?"
