Chapter 1: Will you be my chauffeur?

Tim: *texts the group chat of the cast of High School Musical the Musical the Series* Welcome to Salt Lake City everyone! I hope you all have started to learn your lines for episodes 1 and 2! Let's all meet in  at HSMTMTS headquarters tomorrow at 5:00pm in the conference room. I want a chance for you all to bond as a cast. I know you all have sorta gotten to know each other but I wanna make sure we can all trust each other and really be able to work together. See you all there!
Josh: *texts the group chat back* Sounds good! See you all there!
Tim: *texts the group chat* Oh also just to let you all know your 1st table read will not be tomorrow but will be the following day at noon. You don't need to have your lines memorized but come prepared!
Olivia: *I open the text and immediately write it down in my reminders* "I'm just a little forgetful," I think to myself, "I wonder what this whole 'bonding' thing is about. I'll text Josh about it."
Olivia: *texts Josh* Hey do you think you can give me a ride to the conference room tomorrow? If not, I can catch an uber.
Josh: *texts Josh* Oh Hey Olivia! I'd love to give you a ride!
Olivia: *texts Josh* Okay thank you. I just got my permit back home and I wasn't really comfortable in an uber anyways lol.
Josh: *texts Olivia* I'll pick you up around four so we could run to Starbucks or something. That way we can get to know each other. Also I heard about you getting your permit, I'm so happy for you!
Olivia: *texts Josh* Oh thank you! Also, Starbucks sounds great. Don't be shocked if I buy a cake pop and no coffee. Those things are addicting lol.
Josh: *texts Olivia* They really are!
Olivia: *texts Josh* Right?! No one ever seems to agree with me. I just get called a child. I'm nwot a bwaby. I'm a bwig girl.
Josh: *texts Olivia* Lol. Should I bring my guitar tomorrow to the 'bonding' thing?
Olivia: *texts Josh* Yeah sure. I mean I would die to hear a Joshua Bassett original in person. I just don't think your videos do you any justice.
Josh: *texts Olivia* Haha. Thanks Olivia! I really appreciate that! I also plan on bringing Uno cards because I created a fun game that I love playing with my family and that I think you will all love!
Olivia: *texts Josh* Ooooo a game?! Should I be excited? I bet you 5 dollars I'm gonna win.
Josh: *texts Olivia* Your on! It's pretty intense but a lot of fun. I call it, "Spicy Uno."
Olivia: *texts Josh* Wow. What a name. Also get ready to give up that five dollars. I will win. That is a promise. Not just any promise, it's a pinky promise. Ahh, now I see why I get called a kid lol.
Josh: *texts Olivia* It's gonna be sad when you lose! Omg watch someone else like Larry Saperstein win haha. That would be funny, but he's not part of the bet!
Olivia: *texts Josh* It's just you and me Joshy! And it won't be sad, I mean I may cry, but out of happiness because I'll be 5 dollars richer.
Josh: *texts Olivia* Joshy? Haha I like it!
Olivia: *texts Josh* Good! Because it's your new nickname! Now what's mine?
Josh: *texts Olivia* Ummmm, how about Liv? Livi when your tapping into your 'inner child'.
Olivia: *texts Josh* Perfect! Also that's weird, I would never act like a child. What would make you say that Bassett?
Josh: *texts Olivia* You literally just said that Livi.
Olivia: *texts Josh* I'm just being sarcastic. Don't  get all defensive. Hint hint, my inner sarcasm comes out quite a bit so get used to that.
Josh: *texts Olivia* I think I'm alreaddy getting use to it! I love talking with you. I also loved writing that cover of 'All of Me' with you! You have such amazing amazing voice!
Olivia: *texts Josh* Oh boy, cue sensitive Olivia! Aww thank you Joshy. That means a lot to me. I was always so insecure about it and to hear that from you makes me feel so good about it! (The cover I mean).
Josh: *texts Olivia* No problem! And don't ever be insecure about your beautiful talent! So I'll meet you at your trailer at 4? Oh btw, have you started to read the scripts for episodes 1 and 2?
Olivia: *texts Josh* Sounds perfect. Also yeah, I read them. I love these characters and this story!
Josh: *texts Olivia* I'm so excited for our characters omg ! Like Ricky couldn't even say I love you back ahhh! But I kinda like Ej ngl.
Olivia: *texts Josh* I know! Idk I feel like Ej is not going to be a fan favorite because Nini and Ricky have a lot of history.
Josh: *texts Olivia* Good point. But they'll love Matt he's amazing! Omg lol... I remember Matt walking into auditions and I thought he was auditioning for Ricky and my mom even looked at me and was like "oof good luck he's one good looking guy" Lol. Also, I wonder what will happen with Gina.  She kinda seems like the show version of Sharpay.
Olivia: *texts Josh* HAHAHA your mom sounds amazing!
Josh: *texts Olivia* She really is lol.
Olivia: *texts Josh* Yeah gina seems like that. Idk maybe it'll all turn around for the both of them.
Josh: *texts Olivia* I can't wait to find out!
Olivia: *texts Josh* I'm so pumped!
Josh: *texts Olivia* Random question, what is your favorite OG HSM movie and what's your favorite OG song? Ahhh we should bring the OG movies and watch them as a cast!
Olivia: *texts Josh* My favorite is probably the second one because everything is kinda realistic for once lol. And my favorite song is Breaking Free. It just sounds so amazing and I love the meaning behind it! And OMG yes bring the movies!
Josh: *texts Olivia* Same HSM 2 is my favorite.
And also same, I love breaking free but I think my #1 favorite is "You are the Music in Me."
Olivia: *texts Josh* "You are the Music in Me" is sooo good! I've always wanted to sing that as a duet but my boyfriend doesn't really sing lol. Maybe we could?
Josh: *texts Olivia* Oooooo a boyfriend?! How is he? What's his name? And sure I'd love to sing a duet with you!
Olivia: *texts Josh* Ethan is his name. And he's good lol. I really miss him. It's going to be awhile till I see him again.
Josh: *texts Olivia* Awww that's sweet. And you should have him visit sometime.  I'd love to meet him.
Olivia: *texts Josh* Yeah I will! He was a little mad when I said I would be moving out to film. Something about me getting caught up with a different guy or whatever. I almost turned it down for him but then I realized I should make decisions for myself and not to please someone else. He eventually came around. Well kinda. He wasn't there to say goodbye. I just hope he's not too mad.
Josh: *texts Olivia* Aww I'm sorry that happened to you. You should call him and assure him you won't get caught up with someone else.  That you only have eyes for him.
Olivia: *texts Josh* I will. Thanks for the advice. I can tell that we are going to be amazing friends. You are so kind and we haven't even known each other that long. Honestly, thank you.

Btw, I use to watch Bizaardvark (not all the time but I've seen a few episodes) and it's hilarious!
