Epilogue: You are the Music in Me

Summer of 2024:
A little over 5 years later, your favorite couple is still going strong. After 4 seasons of hsmtmts, they finally called it quits and the beloved show ended (it was a very sad day). But that doesn't mean their lives stopped, quite the opposite actually. Josh released his first album in late 2020 and another one in 2022. He went on a tour for his second album and brought his love with him as they traveled all around North America together. Him and Olivia just got back from the tour about a week ago and are settling back into life. He's still acting but slightly more focused on music at the moment. Olivia has also been busy as well. She has landed multiple roles and released some music as well. No albums or EP's yet, but she has dropped some singles. Now, after everything, they live together in a decently sized apartment near Los Angeles.
Today, it's a lazy Sunday in Summer and here is a glimpse into a day in the life of Joshua and Olivia.

Olivia: *I wake up and kiss your cheek* Good morning Dorky
Josh: You've been calling me that for what.. 5 years now? *laughs*
Olivia: Yes, yes I have *laughs* You're always just going to be my Dorky
Josh: and you'll always be my darling angel *I kiss the top of your head*
Olivia: How are you feeling? Happy to be back home?
Josh: We've been home like a week and I'm still exhausted. It's so nice to finally chill and be by ourselves. What about you?
Olivia: Don't get me wrong, I love being on tour with you and singing on stage, but I truly love being alone with you more. I'm just happy to take a break for a little bit and spend some time with my favorite person in the world *smiles*
Josh: *smiles* me too. Besides, I finally get some alone time with my *I say in a silly but serious voice* fiance
Olivia: *I say in a kidding way* Oh yeah I forgot about that. *laughs*  I guess some time with my fiance is nice *laughs*
Josh: Oh you didn't forget *I lightly hit you with a pillow*
Olivia: Did you just hit me?!
Josh: Maybe...
Olivia: You're gonna regret that Bassett
Josh: Am I? *I hit you again*
Olivia: That's it. You asked for it *I kneel over you and start tickling you*
Josh: *laughs* Liv... Liv... oh my gosh *laughs* * I keep hitting you with a pillow*
Olivia: Stop hitting me! *laughs*
Josh: then stop tickling me *laughs*
Olivia: Fine *I stop tickling you*
Josh: Thank You *I kiss you*
Olivia: It's been a long time but I'm still never going to get tired of them. I guess I've still got an on going addiction *laughs*
Josh: Well thats good, cause I do to *I kiss you again*
Olivia: *smiles* Okay, I'm going to go make some breakfast *I get up*
Josh: nooo.. *I wine as I grab your hand* 5 more minutes
Olivia: Mmmm no *laughs*
Josh: ugh... fine I'm coming. *I get up* I'm just gonna run to the bathroom
Olivia: Okay *I walk to the kitchen and start making oatmeal*
Josh: *I go to the bathroom and brush my teeth and come to the kitchen* *I come up behind you and put my arms around you and put my head on your shoulder*
Olivia: Why hello there *I kiss your cheek*
Josh: Heyy *I sway back and forth holding you* what are you making?
Olivia: Well, I'm making myself some oatmeal and fruit but I can make you whatever you'd like
Josh: I'll just have whatever your having.
Olivia: Perfect. *I continue to make the food* Do you know how amazing you are?
Josh: I dont know... how amazing am I? *i kiss around the top of your head*
Olivia: You are so very amazing. Just the most incredible boy- fiance *smiles*
Josh: I could say the same about my wife to be *I kiss your check and walk toward the fridge. I get us 2 glasses of orange juice*
Olivia: Thank you *I take a sip* How refreshing. *I finish making breakfast* All done!
Josh: Looking good Liv *I sit at the kitchen table*
Olivia: I know, I look great *laughs*
Josh: No, the food looks great. You look beautiful *smiles*
Olivia: Even in my pajamas?
Josh: Even in your pajamas
Olivia: Well thanks honey *I bring over the bowls of food* Your breakfast my love
Josh: Why thank you. Wow, what a beautiful ring you got on there
Olivia: You like it?
Josh: wherever did you get it *smiles*
Olivia: Well, my boyfriend was on tour and I was on stage with him, singing our original song we wrote for a show were on together called High School Musical The Musical The Series and all the sudden pictures and videos of us appeared on the screen. And in front of everyone, he got down on one knee and proposed
Josh: you must be one special girl *smiles*
Olivia: I'd like to think I am *smiles*
Josh: well I think you are, and I think that boyfriend of yours thinks so too
Olivia: No no no not Boyfriend, *I hold up my hand* Fiance
Josh: *laughs* I love you Olivia
Olivia: I love you too Josh
Josh: *smiles* I never really knew what that word meant tell I met you
Olivia: *smiles* I feel the same way. I didn't know what love was until I met you. You brought it into my life and I'm beyond thankful of you for doing that *laughs*
Josh: Why are you laughing *laughs*
Olivia: Because... I don't know, I'm just really happy
Josh: and why are you so happy *smiles*
Olivia: Because I get to spend the rest of my life with well, the love of my life. *whispers* That's you by the way, incase you didn't know
Josh: *gasps sarcastically* me? I'm honored *laughs*
Olivia: You're so silly *laughs*
Josh: *I cross my eyes and stick my tongue out*
Olivia: *laughs* I can't believe you. You're such a child
Josh: yeahhh but you love me anyways
Olivia: That is true. I wuv you very very much
Josh: seee *laughs* so what's the plan... what should we do with our lay low day
Olivia: Sleep, cuddle, kisses, cuddles... I don't know *laughs* I'm not very good at this whole decision making thing
Josh: *laughs* I mean those are all solid ideas
Olivia: Great ideas *laughs* Oooh do you wanna watch a movie?
Josh: as long as we get in those cuddles and kisses *laughs* what movie?
Olivia: I don't know. Oh you wanna know what movie I haven't seen in a while?
Josh: what's that?
Olivia: Twlight!
Josh: you know.. I don't think I've seen that movie
Olivia: You haven't!?
Josh: I don't think so... is it like the ride at Disney?
Olivia: Oh now we definitely have to watch it. So we've been dating for over 5 years, and you've never decided to inform me that you've never seen Twilight?
Josh: We've been a bit busy you know *laughs*
Olivia: Yeah but five years is a long time!
Josh: so let's rephrase... it's been 5 years and you never decided to inform me that I need to watch Twilight?! *trys not to laugh*
Olivia: Correct
Josh: well let's watch it. You done with this *I point at your bowl*
Olivia: Yep! And thanks for cleaning up
Josh: I'll wash these few dishes while you get this movie set up *I grab the bowls and head to the sink*
Olivia: *I set up the movie and grab some blankets and sit down on the couch*
Olivia: Hurry up Dishwasher! *laughs
Josh: are you calling me a dishwasher - I'm not a machine, I'm a human being
Olivia: *face palm* I literally hate you with a burning passion
Josh: *I stick my tongue out at you* *I finish and run over and jump over the back of the couch to sit by you* hurry up I wanna watch a movie!
Olivia: You do know you could have just walked around couch, right?
Josh: Why would I wanna do that?
Olivia: it's just what normal people do
Josh: well I guess I'm not normal then
Olivia: Not in any capacity Joshy *I tap your nose*
Josh: Did you just boop me?
Olivia: Yes, yes I did. You got a problem that?
Josh: guess not *laughs* So you didn't answer my question earlier, is it Twilight like the ride at Disney world?
Olivia: No, not at all. It's much much different *laughs*
Josh: So I don't have to worry about being dropped from anywhere
Olivia: You're so weird *laughs* And no, no you don't.
Josh: oh good *I get under the blanket and snuggle next to you* okay I'm ready
Olivia: *I press play and wrap my arms around your waist*
Josh: *it starts*
Bella: *in the movie* "I'd never given much thought to how I would die."
Josh: Dang is she gonna die?!
Bella: "But dying in place of someone I love, seems like a good way to go."
Josh: Preach!
Olivia: Joshua shut up I'm watching a movie.
Josh: Joshua? Am I in trouble?
Olivia: Yes, you are
Josh: *I make a pouting face and snuggle closer to you*
Olivia: You getting cozy there Bassett?
Josh: shhh I'm watching a movie
*try's not to laugh*
Olivia: And to think I said yes... You're lucky you're cute Josh *laughs*
Josh: what do you mean?
Olivia: Yes to marrying you silly *tries not to laugh*
Josh: I'm still trying to watch a movie missy
Olivia: Oh shut up
Josh: that's what I'm trying to get you to do!
Olivia: You watch your tone mister
Josh: I don't have a tone
Olivia: Uh yeah you do
Josh: I sowey *I frown*
Olivia: It's otayyy. I still wuv you
Josh: I wuv you too *I put my head on my shoulder and some time passes. They get to the part Bella meets Edward at school in biology* he low key creeps me out
What is he a vampire or something?
Olivia: No, Definitely not
Josh: *laughs* but he's creepy
Olivia: I agree. Kinda freaking me out
Josh: he looks like he wants to eat her I swear
Olivia: That's cause he probably does
Josh. Oh well that's not weird... umm what?! *laughs*
Olivia: He's a vampire... and he's like, insanely attracted to her
Josh: 1st if all... spoiler alert! But 2nd, I KNEW IT!
Olivia: Oh come on, everyone knows twilight is about vampires. And hey, tone it down, I'm trying to watch a movie here *tries not to laugh*
Josh: I've been doing pretty good though...
Olivia: You just screamed in my ear
Josh: because I knew it!
Olivia: *rolls eyes* I'd like the ability to hear you know
Josh: I feel bad now....I'm sorry
Olivia: I'm sorry I made you feel bad, beside I wanna be able to hear so I can hear your beautiful voice
Josh: *blushes* Okay so this dude with long hair, who is he?
Olivia: That's Jacob.
Josh: okay...is he like an old friend?
Olivia: I guess. He's Bella's dad's best friend's son
Josh: woah Bella's dads... best friends... son... okay got it *laughs*
Olivia: Good. Now shut it because we're watching a movie
Josh: *I pretend to zip my lips and I lean back on you*
Olivia: *we continue watching the movie and get to the part where Edward takes Bella's to the woods and ultimately reveals himself*
Josh: HEROIN! That's an illegal drug! Wait what?! *laughs*
Olivia: *laughs* That is a true statement
Josh: *laughs* she's his own personal brand of heroine... is that what he said *laughs*
Olivia: Yes he did
Josh: so like an addiction.... mmmm
Olivia: You could say that it's something like that
Josh: mmmm sounds a bit familiar to me *smiles*
Olivia: Oh really?
Josh: mhm
Olivia: Are you trying to get something from me Josh?
Olivia: What exactly are you hinting at?
Josh: mmm. *I point at my lips*
Olivia: Do you need something to eat?
Josh: I hate you
Olivia: What did I do to you?
Josh: just kiss me please
Olivia: So demanding my love

Olivia: Okay, just because you asked nicely *I kiss your cheek*
Josh: close enough *laughs*
Olivia: Oh, I have to tell you something
Josh: okayy
Olivia: *I kiss you*

Olivia: *I wrap my arms around your neck*
Josh: *I pull back* woah slow down I have a movie to watch *tries not to laugh*
Olivia: *I pause the movie* Did you really just pull that on me?
Josh: *laughs* I'm kidding, thank you
Olivia: And to think I wasted my precious time kissing you...
Josh: Hey!
Olivia: *I mock you* hEy
Josh: can I waste more of your precious time?
Olivia: I don't know, I'm kinda mad at you right now...
Josh: why? *acts clueless*
Olivia: I'm leaving the room *I get up and walk to the kitchen
Josh: Liv!! *I get up and run over to you and wrap my arms around you from behind* I'm sorry
Olivia: *smiles* I love you so much
Josh: I love you more
I'll behave now, I promise *I stick out my pinky*
Olivia: *I link mine on* Okay, now I have one request
Josh: what's that
Olivia: I want...
Josh: yesss
Olivia: You to...
Josh: to what
Olivia: Sing a song with me.... pwetty pwease? *I make that face*
Josh: what do you wanna sing?
Olivia: I um... don't know
Josh: give me one second *I go and grab my guitar*
Olivia: I- oh he's getting prepared
Josh: *plays random chords* what are we singin?
Olivia: I just said I don't know!
Josh: How about *starts to play Just for a Moment"* a little throwback...
Olivia: Wait!
Josh: What? *stops playing*
Olivia: We should go live! Like on Instagram
Josh: Oh gosh, I haven't done that in awhile
Olivia: That's why we should
Josh: okay so do you wanna go live or me?
Olivia: Umm you do it. My phone's at 20%
Josh: *laughs* *I grab my phone and set it up on a table in front of the couch*
Olivia: Are you ready?
Josh: why am I nervous *laughs*
*We sit on the couch next to each other*
Olivia: *I kiss you* You still nervous?
Josh: mmm a little bit *smiles*

Olivia: *I kiss you again* How about now?
Josh: Perfect *smiles and starts the live* Hey everyone! I'm here with my beautiful fiancé. We just got back from tour about a week ago but we thought we'd go live for you guys *I look at you*
Olivia: Yeah so what's gucci my guys?
Josh: Liv, no one says that anymore *laughs*
Olivia: Oh shut up. You used to say it in every live *laughs*
Josh: I didn't go live that much...
Olivia: Remember when you went live like 87 times during corona?
Josh: oh gosh 2020 was not it *laughs*
