Chapter 10: The Morning of Julia's Party

Josh: *I wake up around 7 in the morning*
Josh: *ugh why am I up so early*
Josh: *I get a text from my mom saying, "hey Josh I'm gonna head on down tomorrow for your 1st table read" and I text back saying, "oh haha I guess I'll see you there! Luv u"
Olivia: *I wake up at 7 and check my phone. 8 missed calls from Ethan.*
Olivia: *I don't want to deal with him.*
Olivia: *I watch YouTube for a bit and get ready and around 12 I call Josh*
Josh: *I get ready for the morning and kinda chill out. Around 12 I get a call from Josh.*
Olivia: *on the phone* Hey Joshy. What's up?
Josh: Hey so I'm gonna head to your place so we could go get the cake. Are you getting ready?
Olivia: Yeah I'm all ready.
Josh: Alright I'm heading out now.
Olivia: Okay sounds good.
Josh: Alright see u soon. Bye!
Olivia: Bye Josh.
Josh: Bye Olivia
Olivia: Byeee
Josh: By- okay one of us needs to hang up *I laugh*
Olivia: Alright fine *laughs*.... See you soon! *hangs up*
Josh: *I get in the car and drive over to pick you up and I honk my horn to let you know I'm there.*
Olivia: *I hear your horn and grab my things. I walk outside and get into your car..* Hey Josh.
Josh: Hey Olivia. *I back the car out* How'd you sleep?
Olivia: Good... but I woke up with 8 missed calls from Ethan. So I guess you could say I woke up on the wrong side of the bed if you know what I mean.
Josh: Oh, I'm sorry. Maybe you should answer one time and tell him how you feel. Tell him that he's too late and he shouldn't have assumed things in the first place.
Olivia: It's not your fault Joshy. I don't know if I'm ready though... it really hurt me. Heck, I'm still sad about it. I just- not yet.
Josh: I get it. Do whatever you feel is right. You know what's best for yourself.
Olivia: Maybe I'll call him next week, but I don't want to talk about him anymore. and Mr. Bassett you still need to tell me what you were going to say yesterday.
Josh: Oh, um *don't say it- make something help....oh the song! That will do.* I was just gonna ask if you would be willing to do that song we talked about soon.
Olivia: Oh yeah! I'd be down to. *Why'd he hesitate*
Josh: Okay so we can start after the table read tomorrow.
Olivia: Perfect. Are you sure that's all you needed to ask?
Josh: Yes... for now *laughs*
Olivia: *Laughs and wonders what he means* Okay so, are we buying a premade cake and just putting on decorations or are we making one?
Josh: Well, we don't have much time to make our own so let's get one pre-made.
Olivia: Sounds good.
*We arrive at the nearest bakery*
