Chapter 33: Is Josh Okay?

Josh: *I pick you up and we just talk about random stuff on the car ride there.
I pull into the school.*
Olivia: Hey are we going to ever tell anyone we went on an adventure to East High a few days ago? *I laugh*
*we park in the back lot where everyone else is*
Josh: Umm I don't know. Maybe just Matt and Sofia.
Olivia: Okay. Then when I fell into the river later that day...
Josh: Good times *I laugh* *Okay that wasn't a date... obviously...but that was like the best 1st date; like something you'd see in a movie. She's so perfect. I really lik- STOP JOSH*
Olivia: You okay there Joshy? Your making your thinking face.
Josh: What?.... *snap out of it Josh* Oh yeah I'm good. I think I'm just tired. Don't worry though, I'm totally pumped for today.
Josh: Oh there's Matt *I honk the horn*
Matt: *yells* Hey guys!
Josh: *I roll down the window* *yells* Hey Matt! Let's park back there and we can all walk in together
Matt: Okay! See you in a sec!

*we park*
Olivia: Hey Matt! How are you?
Matt: Oh hey Olivia! How was your 1st day of filming?
Josh: So good Olivia is amazing! She nailed her song! *I look at Liv* Sorry *laughs* I cut you off.
Olivia: Your fine *laughs* Nailed may be an exaggeration. It was pretty good though.*I laugh* *Good thing he didn't have me elaborate on what we filmed because I might have just frozen up then*
Josh: No...she deffinetly nailed it... PLUS, Tim had us improvise the whole flashback scene and the talent this girl has... I just can't.
Matt: Improv? Oh my goodness I can't wait to see it!
Olivia: Hey don't let me take all the credit. This man next to me is an incredible actor and helped me with a song yesterday that I was really stuck on.
Matt: oooo a song?!
Olivia: Yeah! Tim has me writing a song for episode four and I'm so excited *Should I say anything about our possible collaboration on a song?*
Josh: *I look at you cause I can kinda tell what your thinking and shake my head no* Yeah I'm so excited for her
Olivia: We are both very very excited. *I laugh*
Matt: Yeah me too!

*Sofia walks over*

Sofia: Hey guyssss!
Olivia: Hey Sofiaaa!!
Sofia: I cannot wait to see this school!
Olivia: Wanna know a secret? Josh and I came here a few days ago.
Matt: Yeah...I was there.
Josh: Nooo, she means after that, like, we went inside.
Sofia: Wait really?
Josh: Shhhh *laughs*
Olivia: Yeah we came here and walked around the school until I may have been spotted.
Matt: Spotted?!
Sofia: How did that go?
Josh: It was fine. She was chill. Her name was Gabby and she was super nice. She even gave a tour. And put up with our "fan girling" moments.
Olivia: Oh and she even invited us to see the East High production of Newsies!
Josh: Oh right! We should all go! We don't know if we should tell Tim though... but like maybe it would be cool for us as a cast to go see them cause technically we are playing fictional students at their school.
Olivia: That's a lot to process there Josh.
Josh: *I laugh* Hey, let me excited!
Sofia: You two sneaky ninjas!
Josh: Exactly *laughs*
Matt: Well, are you guys ready to go in?
Olivia: Definitely. Guys, this is going to be like our second home for the next 6 months!

*Frankie runs up to us*

Frankie: Wait up!
Josh: Oh hey Frankie!
Tim: *yells* Hey guys!

*For the next few hours Tim runs us through blocking and directional cues etc. We all get ready in makeup and costume.
Josh brought a speaker and they jammed to random songs.*

Tim: *We get back to set and walk to a set of lockers* So we are starting with the scene where Nini breaks up with Ricky officially*
Tim: Larry, Olivia, Josh, Dara!
Dara: Ahh I'm so excited! *whispers to Olivia*
Olivia: This scene oh my god I may cry! *whispers back to Dara* *I laugh*
Tim: Hey Matt! Wanna hold the directing board for this take!
Matt: Oh my god yes!
Tim: *Gives directing cues to the 4 actors and talks over the scene with them* Ready Matt?
Matt: "High school Musical: The Musical: The Series: scene 3b take 1 *slams the clapperboard*
