Danny's P.O.V

It has been about an hour and a half since I've last texted her. Hopefully she didn't die or anything. To be honest, I've been feeling quite down lately since Kaitlyn and I haven't been talking.

Maybe I shouldn't have made that joke about "Morgan" to get her jealous. Fvck, I've screwed up so much between us, I wish we could just go back in time. I thought she would have fought for me .. But who in the world would know if she would .. I didn't even know if she liked me .. Or even likes me now.

A few minutes later, I decide to text Kaitlyn.

Danny :

Hey, I miss talking to u. :(

I lock my phone and head downstairs to get my earbuds.

"Hey Danny! How are you and Katy?" I hear Pol on the couch.

"Dude, her name isn't Katy. It's Kaitlyn,"

"Okay, okay. Kaitlyn. Better?"

"Yes. And, I just texted her .. Hopefully she replies."

"Bro, just chill. She's probably at practice or something." Pol walks over.

"Practice? She doesn't do any sports."

"Oh. Then, you're screwed man." He pats on my shoulder. "Do you want me to make a sandwich for you?" He smiles.

"Nah, it's fine." I grab my earbuds and run upstairs in hope that Kaitlyn has texted me back.

SHE DID! HOLY MOTHER OF POTATO SACKS! SHE FLIPPIN REPLIED!

I'm literally fangirling right now, like for real. I eagerly unlock my phone and see ..

Kaitlyn :

Hi xx I'm sorry that I haven't been talking to you lately.. I was just busy ..

I reply.

Danny :

It's ok :) what were u busy with?

Kaitlyn :

Stuff ..

Danny :

I'm sorry.

Kaitlyn :

For what ..?

Danny :

For making up this "Morgan" girl... I just wanted u to be jealous .. :(

Kaitlyn :

Oh

Danny :

Yeah, I feel horrid. Is that why u were ignoring my texts and calls?

Kaitlyn :

Maybe ..

Danny :

I wanted to make u jealous bc I really really like u. I just wanted to see how u'd react to it. I can't describe the ways u make me feel just by ur existence in my life. I really wanted u to fight for me, I guess you didn't. I wasn't ready for you to completely cut all communication between us. Even tho ur not mine, just please don't leave me for my mistakes. I luv u, Kaitlyn.

But being the awkward turtle I am think that she wouldn't care, I decide to erase everything and restarted typing it.

Danny :

Ok :( very sorry

Kaitlyn :

It's ok, I gtg ttyl bye.

Danny :

Now thinking about it, I miss her lovely arse. But now I regret erasing the message because now .. She won't know how I truly feel about her.
