Ruby got pushed through and Iain followed with the baby. "Okay this is one of holbys finest paramedics treat her well" smiled Hannah "this is Ruby Spark, 23, gave birth 7 or 8 minutes ago in the back of the ambulance at 31 weeks pregnant, she had a panic attack at home and started losing blood which seems to have triggered labour, baby took a couple of seconds to come around but everything seems well. She has tore and will need some stitches" she added they nodded and started checking them both over.
Jan walked up to the hospital and saw Iain sitting outside "why aren't you with her?" She asked "she's had the baby" he smiled "really?" She asked he nodded "9 weeks early but healthy" he smiled Jan smiled "congratulations" she smiled hugging him he smiled "I'm just glad they are both alright" he smiled "why aren't you with her?" She asked "baby is being checked over, Ruby needs stitches" he said "that doesn't answer my question" smiled Jan Iain nodded and just then Bea walked out "Ruby wants you" she smiled Iain nodded "wait... girl or boy?" Smiled Jan "a little girl" smiled Iain Jan smiled "congratulations again" she smiled "go and see her if you like" smiled Iain she nodded "I will" she smiled. Iain walked into Ruby's room "alright sweetheart?" He asked sitting down on the bed next to her. She nodded "they said I need stitches" she said "it's alright, they'll numb it" he smiled "Is she alright?" Asked Ruby Iain nodded "she's fine and being kept company by nanny Jan" he smiled Ruby smiled "ready Ruby?" Asked Bea "not really" she said "you'll be fine I promise" she said Ruby nodded "legs up sweetie I know it's sore" she said Ruby did as she said squeezing Iain's hand "alright" he said pushing her hair back "sharp scratch as I numb it" she said Ruby just cried when Bea stuck the needle in her which was expected. "It's alright darling, it's alright" he said holding her close "all done" smiled Bea a couple of minutes later "thank you" said Ruby "your welcome" she smiled "no walking for a while Rubes you need to stay in bed" she said "how long is a while?" She asked "well it's going to hurt for 2-3 weeks so really stay in bed as long as you can" she said "give it 5 days at least" she said Ruby nodded "okay thank you" she said.
